Man Crush Monday: James Franco!

This is a big post for me and I can't believe I haven't done this sooner! Basically my biggest and most consistent celebrity crush is definitely James Franco... and I think we're soul mates and he's totally my future husband.

And with a lot of really hot actors I'll say that they are super talented when I really haven't seen much of their work... but I've seen a lot of James Franco stuff and I can say he's very talented with a very wide acting range. Freaks and Geeks I wasn't the biggest fan of (I need to rewatch it) but he was good in it, he was PERFECT in This is The End, good villain/good guy in the spider man movies, he was an AMAZING villain on general hospital, awesome in Spring Breakers and it wouldn't be a Man Crush Monday without mentioning The Mindy Project. Wow I really need to look back and see how many of my MCM's have been on The Mindy Project. I bet the ones that aren't on it yet will be... but I love Mindy and Danny so much right now I don't know if I want them to be. Ohhh my gosh Franco was the FUNNIEST on 30 Rock Also. I love this picture and it was actually my facebook profile pic for a while until it got disturbing.

It's funny because I kind of look like Tina Fey and I love cupcakes and Liz is wearing cupcake pajamas so basically this is what my honeymoon with James Franco would look like lol.

Anyhoo back to James Franco... ohhh my god. He's just so hot! Lol. Now that I've established his talent I feel like I can mention how hot he is. Which is very. But he's also not overly hot. Like Channing Tatum is hot but he's just a little too hot. Like I will never have anything in common with Channing Tatum and will never be able to talk to him because of our very obvious varying degrees of hotness. Although James Franco is also incredibly hot and possibly even hotter than Channing Tatum... he's just a more approachable person. I feel like if we met we could discuss novels and general English-Major type things, and we could laugh about things because we have a similar sense of humor. And then obviously we would realize that we're soul mates and fall in love and get married. Okay maybe not the last part, but I could actually see being friends with him.

He also seems like a super cool and easy guy to work with. In This is The End the director's goal was to get everyone to say "no, there is no way I'm doing that" and he could not break Franco! So James Franco is either a crazy person and/or a real professional. I think he's both.

And we CANNOT forget the Roast of James Franco because it was awesome. He took all the comedians jokes really well and he gave it back pretty well himself. I like seeing James Franco with Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and all of his friends because he always seems super happy to work with them. These guys are like his best friends and he makes it seem like he's just having an awesome day with his friends, while still working and doing something awesome. If I ever do become a comedy writer or even not a comedy writer I would actually like to work with James Franco because he just seems like an awesome guy all around and he's super talented. I can put my giant crush to the side to work with James Franco.

Ohhhh and I almost forgot HE'S AN ENGLISH MAJOR! And he's in school trying to get more English degrees... which is awesome! I'm an English Major myself... and I think I'm probably smarter than James Franco... but he's the one with actual movies he's written and made and a book too I think sooo... yeah. Lol. I think it's cool that he's actually continuing his education and not just like "hey I was in Spiderman and 127 Hours. I was nominated for an Oscar and I also hosted it. Fuck School." He's like "hey I did all these cool things, let me learn now," which you've gotta have some respect for. That's a cool thing.

So in short, I love James Franco and think he is an awesome AWESOME person. He is probably my biggest man crush of all man crushes and yeah...

Byeee!

Scribbles about TV: Jane The Virgin Review!

This I think is a surprise hit, so of corse I needed to watch it for myself to see! It's been getting a lot of critical buzz because it has been reviewed as "one of the best pilots of the season" and I also have been hearing a few critics saying that they don't think it will last because the word "virgin" is in the title... which is stupid. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin and if a show is good, its good and people should watch it... plus this did bring pretty high ratings for The CW so the critics that said that can suck it! Lol. Overall I really liked this show. One thing thats been bothering me a lot about the new Fall shows is that the characters aren't interesting enough. Especially the female characters. I thought that this showed a lot of really strong female characters that were interesting. This had a pretty big cast with A LOT of stuff going on for a pilot and most of the characters were female. That is a powerful thing to see on TV...

Scribbles About TV: Jane The Virgin Finale Review (SPOILERS)

So.... Can we talk about all the twists because there were a lot! I didn't even see all of them coming! Alrighty we start out in typical Jane The Virgin Mode with Jane's choice between Raphael and Michael... I'd be okay with either but I think I'm team Michael. Jane has a weird moment with Raphael and thinks she's better off without him and just having him be the father of her child. She's also starting to have some feelings for Michael again. Then she almost has the baby on the bus and some woman helps her and gets the bus driver to take her to the hospital. Rogellio and Xo are in Vegas and they get drunk and can't remember what happens, but they make it just in time to see Jane deliver a baby boy. I knew it would be a boy! Lets pause on that a little and go to Michael and his ex partner/friend with benefits who comes back says she has a lead on Sin Rostro, gives him an address where the plastic surgeon is and by the time Michael gets there, he's de...

Top 10 Dating Tips/ Suggestions

So I've been in a relationship for about 2 and a half years... but before that I was single... for a very long time. And I was on dating apps for about a year or so before that... so here's what I learned from those apps. If you want more specific relationship advice I have from being in a relationship... that one might be a little harder but I guess I could do a blog on that too? Idk... I'm not an expert but I think I have some good tips.  Find an App That Works For You  I feel like not all apps work for everyone. I started on Bumble- and I like the app. I love the idea of girls taking the first move- but... I HATE making the first move apparently. So I would just match with a bunch of guys... and never really knew what to talk about. Plus I like having A LOT of info in my bio and Bumble just doesn't give enough space for me. I only went out with 1 guy from Bumble I think and it was bad.  So after that I tried Coffee Meets Bagel... which is terrible. Maybe depending on...
