Appyness #4- Fortune Teller Apps

Tonight, I can't decide what I want for dinner. I kind of want Qdoba, but idk if I want to go that far to get it... so I figure there are a bunch of fortune telling apps... why not ask one of those?

I downloaded the first 5 I saw on the list. They were Wizard Ball... which looks pretty boring, Fortune Teller Panda which is super cute, Magic Toilet... not sure if I want that choosing my fate or not, Magic Ball which is a normal magic 8 ball but I guess they just call it Magic Ball for Legal reasons and some little blue guy called Jinx that was pretty cute.

Wizard Ball
Okay so the Wizard Ball I asked "Should I go to Qdoba tonight" and it said "no way and then there was a quote... I'll screen shot it so that you can see. It isn't all that pretty. It reminds me of a weird alien type thing with a mouth that looks like a vagina with teeth. That's the best way of explaining it. Let me ask it another question for good measure.

hmmm... what to ask. I'm going to ask should I stay here for dinner I guess. It again said no way, but has a different quote... I'm starting to think this is BS. I'm going to ask it if it is a bunch of BS... it said No with another quote...

This was a pretty negative Ball. Let's see if the Panda is any more positive.

Fortune Teller Panda

This is a cuter and harder to use version of the Wizard Ball. It's also more positive because it said Yes. I like this little panda. It's a little hard to use because there are sooo many ads that if you touch the screen at all basically, you're going to get taken somewhere else... but you can also shake your phone to get an answer so that's a plus.

It makes the same noise as the Wizard Ball when asking a question... which is weird. It's a Panda not a ball that doesn't make much sense. Also it doesn't really make sense to shake it because then you are shaking a panda.

I'm going to ask the panda if he likes being shaken. He does it says Yes with yet another quote.

So I guess the same makers decided to make a Positive app and came up with this panda...

Magic Toilet

Not gonna lie... if A toilet tells me not to go to Qdoba for dinner, I think I should believe it... since its a toilet that can tell the future I'm guessing it'll know how Qdoba will end up...

It says Maybe... but I doubt it. That doesn't make sense toilet! Give me a straight yes or no goddamnit! I'm gonna flush again. It says Who Cares now... really I'm being mocked by a fricking toilet?!?!?!?! I don't need this in my life. I'm going to the next app!

Magic Ball
Okay wow. This one seems reliable. I asked it if I should go to Qdoba and some robo lady told me under no circumstances... Damn this has a robo lady and everything. I'm going to ask again.

It said one day perhaps after I asked it again... and then I said "Tonight?" and it said "I think so." Not sure what to make of all this. The robo lady is kinda cool but kinda disturbing. She sounds like Siri's less pretty sister or something like that.

Jinx
Again you need to shake this guy. This poor little blue dude. Okay I asked he said "It's about 50/50" Why don't these things give me a damn straight answer! This one I will have to say has very nice music along with it... so if you're into that, its pretty cool. I asked again same answer... goddamn blue dude! One more time...

Now he says the answer must be no... That's pretty legit.

So after all of that... Idk if I'm gonna go to qdoba or not... They mostly said no. And idk if I want to move or anything so I may not... then again I feel like I should do something. It won't take too long and I want food... I'm conflicted.

I did not end up going to Qdoba that day... but I will eventually this week... maybe the day I actually post this I will go there. I'm not sure. Anyhoo hope you enjoy an adult woman playing ridiculous games on her phone, reviewing them and then deleting them!

Byeeee!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
