Feeling Lovely Friday! Beauty Haul (fragrance and lipgloss)

Sometimes I buy more things than I need... and it ends up with me being kind of broke. Anyhoo I bought some stuff and it's cool so I thought I'd share it.

Sooo first I stopped at Victoria Secret... and tbh I had no idea what I wanted to buy there but I knew I wanted something. I knew I would not leave the store empty handed. I had a couple $10 off bra coupons, I wanted to smell their new fragrances. There was just a lot going on.

So I was super overwhelmed and just picked up some of the new VS Fantasies. I got the Pure Seduction in Bloom line... I mean I think I bought everything in the line, they only have 4 products... and a Lovespell in Bloom spray. It was 5 for $30 and I really liked the Pure Seduction in Bloom, which surprised me because I don't really like the original Pure Seduction. I don't dislike it, I feel like if I had a friend that smelled like that I would think they smelled good but I don't personally think I would want to smell like that all the time. It's a kind of weird scent. But anyway the floral hint that the "In Bloom" line has makes it just different enough for my liking. I got the Love Spell in Bloom spray because I feel like it smells very similar to the original Love Spell and idk I feel like I'd rather have stuff from the original lovespell line than just the "in Bloom" line... but I liked "in Bloom" enough to buy the spray. It was an impulse buy kind of lol.\

Wallgreens

Milani came out with some new lip stuff that sounded intriguing to me and they were having a sale... so I went to Wallgreens to pick it up.

The first thing was the new Lip Intense Liquid color. I got the color Fiery Coral... it's super pigmented. I know that I'm going to do a True Test Thursday on this... so you probably already know about it. I'm writing this before I'm posting the True Test... but I'm posting after the True Test sooo yeah. I guess you'll know whether it is good before I do. And You can read that review right on this very blog. Crazy right?

I also got the Millani Brilliant Shine Gloss... which I also quite like. These are quite pigmented for a lipgloss also. I got the shade coral crush because I really have no corals in my life and I've been digging the color lately. It has a nice application, a nice formula and it's a nice color. I quite like it, it is a little sticky but not overly "my hair is going to stick to my face all day" sticky. It isn't that longwearing either but its nothing bad. It reminds me a bit of the Stila lip glaze. This is the closest product I've ever found to those, which is pretty awesome.

Ohhh and I saw little travel sized versions of the Jergens perfecting BB Cream for Skin. I tried it out and I do think it makes my skin look better. I tried the light skin tones version... I kind of want to try the Medium Skin Tones one for the summer time. I feel like it'll make my legs look nice and tan and pretty. It's a very sheer wash of color, but there is a clear difference in the way my skin looks.

Anddd since I liked the Milani lip stuff so much, I went back to wallgreens! I bought the rest of the colors for the lip intense thingy.

They have a cool toned pink called Pink Rave, A purple called Violet Addict, and a red called Red Extreme. I like that they come in packages! I usually pass on a lot of lip products at my wallgreens because they seem open and thats nasty so I thought this was great!

I also got another of the brilliant shine glosses in the color Ravish Raspberry. I wore that today and it was soooo pretty. It just looked really really cool I liked it a lot!

And that is it! I wanted this to be more exciting, but I just stuck to the same stuff because I really liked it all, and if you like something buy all the somethings. That's my saying! Lol.

Hope you are all feeling lovely this Friday!

Edit:
I opened the other Milani Lip Intense colors and they smell really really bad. The Fiery Coral smelled fine, but the other ones have such a bad smell! They apply the same and it's not so bad that I can actually smell it on my lips (so far from trying it on) but just be warned about that. I guess I got a bad batch or something!

Is there a way to make it smell better? Help if you know!

Ugh... I think I'm just going to take them back! Wallgreens has a good return policy I think and there is definitely something wrong with these. They aren't applying quite the same... its just wrong.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
