Feeling Lovely Friday: Spring Break Must Have's!

Sooo I am starting Spring Break in about a week. I'm not going anywhere and it is fairly cold in New Jersey... but Maybe it will magically warm up in the week and it'll be appropriate to actually use/wear these things.

Right now it sounds absolutely ridiculous for me to even think about these. I'm still in full on winter gear. But who knows. I'll start with scents because that's the least ridiculous thing to imagine right now.

Scents

Sun Kissed by Victoria Secret Pink- I love this scent so much. It's been my obsession lately. It smells like coconut and just happiness. I have the travel sized lotion... I sort of want to try the body butter but I think I'm gonna hold out for a bit.

Country Chic- This is from Bath and Body Works and it is one of their best scents. I'm totally going to be rocking this a lot in the spring and summer because it just smells like sunshine. Sooo soo good! It has a pretty sunflower on the bottle and it just makes me happy.

Golden Magnolia Sun- Another amazing BBW scent. I have a few of the travel sized lotions and the shimmer mist and this smells amazing. Another great springtime summer scent. Also they reformulated their shimmer sprays so it can be super glittery or not super glittery depending on what you want. I like that this scent has glitter for some reason. It makes me super happy... so yeah. Try it!

Hair Goodies
Herbal Essence Dry Shampoo- This is new I believe. It was less expensive than Batiste and I thought it smelled a lot better than the Batiste or the Garnier. It's a Rose Scent. It claims to have instant clean and color protection... I can't really vouch for it yet. I don't color my hair and I haven't used it a whole lot... but it gets the job done and I've really been liking it.

Fashion and Accessories

Cotton On Bracelets- I just bought these recently and I kind of forgot I had them. They have them right at the register, all the money for them goes to the Cotton On Foundation, which helps kids in Uganda. I got a peace sign, a purple band with a pink tassel, and a pink band with a cross charm on it. I just kind of grabbed a few cause I liked the colors and I thought the peace sign was cool. They aren't like super well made or anything, they could probably break easily, but they cost a dollar or 2 and they go to a good cause and they're super cute and fun for spring.

I mean I say they aren't super well made, but for just string bracelets, they aren't too flimsy or anything. They're good.

Ear Cuffs- I posted a pic of an ear cuff that I bought a while back and I just recently bought another one. These seem to be really in right now and I think they're really cool. I think that having a second ear piercing is pretty cool... but I don't really think doing it permanently is for me. I like ear cuffs because I feel edgy and cool but still like myself. And I really like the way that the chain links to the ear. I don't know I just think these are really cool and eye catching.

Midi Rings- I've been loving Midi Rings a lot recently but I think especially in the Spring and Summer there is something nice about having a really cool dainty ring.

Floral- I love floral and its a pattern I think is good year round... but in different ways. I like more pink florals for fall and brighter more colorful florals for spring and summer. Does that make sense? It makes sense to me thats all that matters lol.

Dresses- I love dresses in the summer... I'm not sure if it'll be warm enough to wear the dresses I had planned to on spring break... but I think it's a cute idea.I wish I had a picture to show of my most recent dress purchases. Basically I like really casual dresses because you can dress them up or down. I just bought a few from American Eagle that I plan on wearing with Knee High Socks and boots. It's going to be totes adorbs!

Anyway there's probably more I have to blog about... but I'm just going to leave it there for right now because my computer keeps not wanting to work and I want to post this before midnight. I may do another make up post for spring break... idk. Umm yeah I'll let you know! Ttul love you byeeeee!

Scribbles about TV: Jane The Virgin Review!

This I think is a surprise hit, so of corse I needed to watch it for myself to see! It's been getting a lot of critical buzz because it has been reviewed as "one of the best pilots of the season" and I also have been hearing a few critics saying that they don't think it will last because the word "virgin" is in the title... which is stupid. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin and if a show is good, its good and people should watch it... plus this did bring pretty high ratings for The CW so the critics that said that can suck it! Lol. Overall I really liked this show. One thing thats been bothering me a lot about the new Fall shows is that the characters aren't interesting enough. Especially the female characters. I thought that this showed a lot of really strong female characters that were interesting. This had a pretty big cast with A LOT of stuff going on for a pilot and most of the characters were female. That is a powerful thing to see on TV...

Top 10 Dating Tips/ Suggestions

So I've been in a relationship for about 2 and a half years... but before that I was single... for a very long time. And I was on dating apps for about a year or so before that... so here's what I learned from those apps. If you want more specific relationship advice I have from being in a relationship... that one might be a little harder but I guess I could do a blog on that too? Idk... I'm not an expert but I think I have some good tips.  Find an App That Works For You  I feel like not all apps work for everyone. I started on Bumble- and I like the app. I love the idea of girls taking the first move- but... I HATE making the first move apparently. So I would just match with a bunch of guys... and never really knew what to talk about. Plus I like having A LOT of info in my bio and Bumble just doesn't give enough space for me. I only went out with 1 guy from Bumble I think and it was bad.  So after that I tried Coffee Meets Bagel... which is terrible. Maybe depending on...

Scribbles About TV: Jane The Virgin Finale Review (SPOILERS)

So.... Can we talk about all the twists because there were a lot! I didn't even see all of them coming! Alrighty we start out in typical Jane The Virgin Mode with Jane's choice between Raphael and Michael... I'd be okay with either but I think I'm team Michael. Jane has a weird moment with Raphael and thinks she's better off without him and just having him be the father of her child. She's also starting to have some feelings for Michael again. Then she almost has the baby on the bus and some woman helps her and gets the bus driver to take her to the hospital. Rogellio and Xo are in Vegas and they get drunk and can't remember what happens, but they make it just in time to see Jane deliver a baby boy. I knew it would be a boy! Lets pause on that a little and go to Michael and his ex partner/friend with benefits who comes back says she has a lead on Sin Rostro, gives him an address where the plastic surgeon is and by the time Michael gets there, he's de...
