Chart Chat 8.4-8.6

Alrighty! Top 10 movies... I don't know what #1 is... so that's weird... but I'll find out. Lol.

10) Despicable Me 3- My favorite movie of the summer... also the only movie I've seen this summer. And I love it... I imagine it's leaving theaters soon- but I'd recommend seeing it.

9) War of The Planet of the Apes- Not my thing... but it could be someone's thing. This series of movies look more like my thing than other versions of Planet of The Apes... so that's good.

8) Detroit- I really like John Boyega...  I thought he was great in The Force Awakens... I'm excited that he's doing more than that... but this movie I think has already gotten some criticism... I'm not really sure what and I only half heard the review... but I'd imagine this is a hard movie to watch but a hard story to tell as well. I kind of want to watch it because of John Boyega... but I'm probably nor going to see it in theaters.

7) Atomic Blonde- This looks pretty awesome and Charlize Theron is really talented... I just think she's super cool and she sounded really excited about this movie and that's something I always like.

6) Spider Man Homecoming- I love spiderman. And It's kind of a sentimental movie for me now... which isn't really something I expected... but soon I'm going to go back and watch all the spider man movies. Idk if I'll get to see this... but I have a feeling it'll be in theaters for a while longer- so maybe I will! I love Spider Man... he's slowly becoming my favorite super hero... at least to watch in movie form. I think I still like Batman, The Hulk and Ghost Rider more... but I love Spider Man and I'm actually happy there are so many different spider men out there because they're all good and relevant... so that is awesome.

5) Kidnap- What a terrible name for a movie. Right? Not even Kidnapped... just Kidnap? That's some confusing Grammar right there. Maybe that's a plot twist and secretly Halle Berry is the kidnapper? That's unlikey... but it would kind of make the title a little better. I'm kind of over these kidnapper movies... I'm over Oscar winners in terrible movies... which will be coming up again in the #1 movie... lol. But I don't think this looks good. This is like an August movie for sure.

4) Girls Trip- This looks amazing. Amazingly funny cast... this is one of those movies people like so much that they're posting about it on Facebook a lot... which is awesome. It seems like a fun girl's night movie that you'll just have a good time seeing. Go see this one! I probably won't... but I'm going to tell everyone else to.

3) The Emoji Movie- I mentioned this a few times... not just in the chart chats... so I'll kind of skip over the actual plot of this movie and say: What's the deal with the Candy Crush Comeback? Right? Candy Crush is back here, it's back on the game show... they kind of mentioned it on Great News... It's just been all over the place. Side note: The Candy Crush Game Show is bad... I'm not a fan of Mario Lopez... I just feel like they're just playing Candy Crush on tv... and it's weird... so not my thing... but yeah.

2) Dunkirk- My grandfather would have loved to see this movie... so I'm happy for it's success and praise... I hope it gets nominated for an Oscar... and I want to see it for the sentimental reasons that I've been talking about sort of all over my blogs. It's a movie that if you're into history or War Movies- you'll probably like.

1) The Dark Tower- Ohhh okay this is the sci fi movie with Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey... I thought Tom Cruise was in this too but it's Tom Taylor. This would probably be better with Tom Cruise... but maybe not. I don't see this movie becoming a thing... and I think it was supposed to be and maybe it will now that it's number 1? Only made 19.5 million dollars... which is bad. Dunkirk made $50, 513, ,488 in it's opening weekend. The budget of TDT was an estimated 66,000,000... not too high... it'll make the money back worldwide I'm sure... but yeah... not great for opening weekend and this got bad reviews. I'd watch this because of Idris Elba... which I'm guessing is why people love it so much lol.

Alright... so with that exciting/ not so exciting end... I'm going to leave you there. Let me know if you liked any of these movies, hated them... If Dunkirk will be nominated for an Oscar. If someone should just give Idris Elba an Oscar for being sexy... If you are Idris Elba and you want to date me or something... just let me know. Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
