It List: June 2016

Cannot believe it is June already... I'm excited! Good Month!

1) Pinterest- So I just started doing pinterest fairly recently. I was going to delete the app after my sister's wedding... I just downloaded it to look at bridesmaid hairstyles... but then I looked around a little bit more... and well... I got hooked. I made a bullet journal and I might try making a Smash Book and I've pinned some workouts and writing and organization techniques... its going to help me get my life together! Lol.

2) Grace and Frankie- This is one of my favorite shows currently on and I'm really excited its returned. So far its just as funny and as good as it was last year. I like it a lot. Highly recommend it for any age... don't be turned off just because its about older people because it is really funny.

3) Bath and Body Works- I always love Bath and Body Works, but its especially good during their Semi Annual Sale cause that's when I like to get my fix. Lol. There are a few seasonal scents I like in Fall and Winter that I like to get before the sale... but in the summer I wait for the sales. And this sale was especially good because I like the scents they brought back! I love Sun Ripened Raspberries, Freesia, Cotton Blossom... there are other scents I got too... but those are the top 3 of the moment.

4) Nifty- There are only a few Nifty videos out... but I could watch them for hours and hours... and I don't craft and I have no intention of crafting or ever doing any of them... but along with the pinterest thing... this is amazing and entertaining and I just really like it!

5) My short hair- I cut my hair really short again and I love it! Its easy to take care of, it curls better, and it looks chic and cute. I love it!

6) Coloring Books- I've been loving coloring books lately too! Its just so calming to just sit down and color! I liked designing my own coloring books... but that takes a lot of time and patience and sometimes its just better to have one made for you and use it that way! Its really just fun! I would recommend getting coloring books at a dollar store or Target's dollar spot. I feel like they can be overpriced at other stores... but gotta love dollar stores! Lol.

7) Stitcher- I downloaded the Stitcher App for podcasts... its just easier to have them all in one place... so I thought that would be a good. I've been listening to Comedy Bang Bang on it a lot... I love that podcast... and I just think its a good app to have if you like podcasts. There's also Beauty and The Blog, which is a great podcast for bloggers... especially beauty bloggers. Erika is super nice also!

8) Pitch Perfect 2- I'm watching this movie now... I've watched most of it until the end its a good movie. I loved the original pitch perfect... and I think I still like that one more... but this is a really great sequel and I feel like its worth mentioning.

9) Target's Dollar Spot- I have a strange fascination with the dollar spot at Target... and Dollar Stores in general... lol. Idk why, but there are some things I look at and I think "ohhh thats more than a dollar, I don't need that." But then if I see it for a dollar... I need it. That's where I got my coloring books... lol you can see I like them a lot! Lol.

10) American Eagle Sunglasses- I love sunglasses. And I just got a couple pairs from American Eagle... and I like them a lot... I'll post a pic of myself in them eventually if I don't post one here... but still! Its really good! I like them a lot and they're great!

Byeee!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
