Bridesmaid Diaries: The Last Few Days

So I mentioned the Rehearsal Dinner, and then there were 2 days until the wedding... so I figured I'd talk about what we did those 2 days. Thursday was the rehearsal dinner, Sunday was the wedding, Friday and Saturday were the "Bonus Days", which I would just say take your time and enjoy. Do something fun and relaxing for yourself. Have some fun!

Friday
Friday was fun! Stacey and I went to the Salon near us, which is Spa Disneyworld... they have everything! Stacey stayed there a little earlier and got a facial. I went later and got a manicure and pedicure... and it was the best. Lol. My feet have been feeling so much better since that pedicure, I swear! They blistered a little bit at the wedding, but it didn't hurt to wear I couldn't walk the next day because of that pedicure it was amazing! They put a hot neck pillow on your neck and a cooled eye mask on while they were doing the pedicure... so nice.

And we got a gel french manicure... it was just really nice. It was a fun day.

We also went to one of the hotels and left the overnight bags for the guests at the hotels. We did that on Saturday also. And we ate food at a greek place thats like a greek chipotle... and it was delicious!

Saturday
Saturday we mostly just hung out. My parents got us donuts for the morning, and my dad and sister ate at a healthy-ish place near us. My mom and I went to take my Aunt who doesn't live around here to buy a jacket because she didn't bring one and she was cold on her train. Then we watched Troop Beverly Hills and my parents took a nap and then we went out for dinner... and we had salads because we didn't want a nervous stomach.

Then my dad and I worked on our speeches because we work better under pressure... so we were waiting till the total last minute and our speeches turned out great! I was happy with it. I'm going to print it out with a fancy font and frame it and put it in her room next time she stays over here.

And then the morning of was pretty good! We were all happy, not really nervous or anything... just happy! But I'll get to that next time! Lol.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
