Shannon Gets Pinteresting 1: Bullet Journal

So for whatever reason, I decided to get into pinterest and I've started pinning a little bit of everything. I have some workouts pinned, some writing things, makeup organization and organization... but one thing I've actually done right away is the Bullet Journal... which is basically a to do list type of thing.

So from what I've seen there's a calendar in front, like a school agenda and then a daily/ weekly one. I'm using a small-ish journal I got from the dollar section of Target... and its working pretty well. Its not going to fit in all of my handbags... but its been fitting in the one I'm currently using and I don't totally need it on me 24/7... but I like having it there just in case something pops up or something. I like writing everything down because then I remember things better... and I pride myself on my ability to remember everything... so that's good.

I write what I'm going to post on my instagram account, shannonsreviews... so thats in there. I have another section for food that I ate and thoughts I had throughout the day. I try to write down what I have planned for my blogs and some tasks I'd like to get done for the day... and they don't always get done... if they do I cross them off and if they don't I've been highlighting them in an orange colored pencil... so yeah.

I am hoping to keep up on this because I do really like it and it has kinda helped me keep in track... but I need to kind of stick to it because I'm horrible at sticking to things. Lol. I like having my blogs scheduled and I'm liking the ease of scheduling my instagrams as well... so this has been helping a little bit... but still. Its going to be hard to do everyday, especially on weekends when I don't like scheduling things.

Ohhh and I write down my step count too... which is fun! And useful. Lol.

Here are some pics.

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
