Whats Up Wednesday: 6.22.16

Wazzzzzzzzzzzuuuuupppppp. Wednesday! Lol.

- I was super tired this morning... like super super super tired! I don't know what it is... but I couldn't wake up for anything, till my mom brought me Starbucks. Lol.
-I had a dream that I dyed my hair rainbow and I was coming up with clever comebacks to guys that hit on girls with weird hair... you know which one I'm talking about, I'm not gonna repeat it. Lol. But my response was "of corse not." Lol. So witty and cool.
-Also in my dream Rutgers Newark was coming around showing people what was up with graduates and how they felt about things... so they just came to people's houses and asked about stuff... it was very honest cause I'd just be like "yeah, I'm unemployed now and I didn't really have many friends in college... but I had a great time. Totally loved it. Definitely recommend going there." Thats weird but honest and they should do that. Lol.
-The episode of Walker Texas Ranger with Hayley Joel Osmet was on this morning... look up the clip of that if you don't know why thats a big deal. Lol. Its unintentionally hilarious because of the time it was put out in. It covers a subject that was fairly new at the time the episode was released and that was how they dealt with it was a way that is very politically incorrect right now... to say the least. Lol.
- Today is kind of a sad day... but its been a good one also.
-My sister and her husband got married one month ago today! So that's cool!
- I've been getting a lot of great ideas for my beauty blog lately... and I feel more inspired. It's making me happy! I've been bringing a notebook around with me for when inspiration strikes... but of corse when I have it on me... inspiration hasn't been striking as much. But it will! I'm sure. I'll be ready for it too!
-I had a delicious thanksgiving sandwich for lunch... pretty late too.
-My mom and I went to wall greens and found a bunch of pennies! Mostly heads up!
-I also saw an Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile for the first time! That was cool!
-I didn't do What's Up Wednesday last week... I haven't forgotten it I just didn't do anything and wasn't having a great day... so I just wasn't really in the best mood for a What's Up Wednesday... but this Wednesday is good... although sad! Its a beautiful day out and I'm in a positive mood! So that makes sense!

So I think that is everything worth mentioning right now... I'm still kind of wanting rainbow hair... but Idk if I can commit to that! Maybe a wig! Lol.

Byeee!
-Shannon

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
