Chart Chat 6.20.16

Happy Monday Everyone... here's a quick Chart Chat because I don't have much to say on most of the movies!

5) Warcraft: The Beginning- This looks like the worst movie of all time. I don't think its getting as bad reviews as movies like Battlefield Earth or Avatar or anything like that... but it looks that bad!

4) Now You See Me 2- I've still never seen the first Now You See Me... I hear its good... but this looked good too. It has Daniel Radcliffe in it, and I'll watch him in just about anything. He's a weird dude and I like it! Lol.

3) The Conjuring 2- Haven't seen the first Conjuring... this one didn't look that scary to me though. I think there's an overkill with horror movies... and I feel like they do that. Idk. Its weird.

2) Central Intelligence- This looks funny. Its gotten bad reviews, but my grandfather and Uncle saw it last night and they loved it... and they haven't liked many movies recently! So that looks good.

1) Finding Dory- This is the whole reason I did this post. Finding Dory, my sister said, was expected to not do so well in the box office... and it ended up breaking records. So its another one of those Deadpool things that ended up making wayyy more money than everyone thought! And I knew it would! Everyone my age is super super excited for this one... my mom is even excited for it! Plus kids are probably looking to see it. And what I think Pixar did right about this movie... even though its a sequel I think they have a really original concept here. They still made some original characters and ideas. The Octopus they have in this movie they needed to use new technology to make... which is awesome! I love when Pixar comes up with innovative ways to animate things like they did with Sully's Hair in Monsters Inc and with Inside out too I believe... That's what Pixar is all about. And I'm excited to see this movie. Plus I think it will explain so much from Finding Nemo that we didn't know about... it's like Memento but with fish. Lol.

Byeee! Hope you liked this!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
