I feel like the weekly favorites for this week are a bit weird and random... so yeah.
Nerd Therapy on Youtube- I recently started collecting Funko Pop figures and I love them, its really fun to pick them up and overall they just make me really happy. I kind of wanted to know more about Funkos so I looked up "Funko Pop" on youtube and found this channel with this couple that collects Funkos and other nerdy things and they'll do Funko Hauls, unboxing of different nerdy subscription boxes, vlogs where they hunt funko pop figures... and just overall cool stuff. And reviews of Funkos which is cool. Really fun and easy to watch and get hooked. If you love Funko Pop figures, you will probably love their channel and yeah. Its just cool to know whats out there.
Serial- I've started listening to Season 1 of Serial again. I may write a book slightly inspired by it even because... idk I find it fascinating that Adnan is probably going to get off, which he honestly should, but the aftermath of the podcast will make him this beloved celebrity kind of when maybe he shouldn't be, and he probably doesn't want to be. Its really sad but something I find really interesting.
Pumpkin Spice Frosted Mini Wheats- These things are delicious! I'm probably going to post a scribble about food about them soon but these make waking up fun. They're a good source of fiber... which works better than fiber 1 bars... lol. It isn't so immediate, but it happens... and yeah. Its tasty though, so if you can find these, they are amazing. Try them.
Not Your Father's Root Beer- This is nearly impossible to find its so trendy right now, but if you're over the age of 21, I highly recommend getting these! They taste really good, just like root beer... if you're not into beer you'll probably like these still, they're just a little beer tasty but they're good. The only thing is for beer, it is pretty strong, and it doesn't feel like you're drinking alcohol cause it just tastes like root beer... so you can have one and be like "woah I'm drunker than I expected." Lol. Just a warning... otherwise these are awesome and I recommend to the 21 and over readers.
What I watched this week
I have a lot of favorites... but I also watched a few good things this week besides season 1 of Bojack Horseman... which I've already talked about how much I like. But yeah. Figured I'd mention it here!
Alexander and The Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day- I didn't watch all of this, but I saw a good chunk of it and what I did see I really liked and I'll probably try to watch the full movie soon because I thought they did a great job from what I saw! Alexander's hair wasn't red enough and he didn't have freckles... but they did use a few little details from the book that I thought were great when brought up in the movie. Like in the book I remember theres a boomerang in his room. In the movie they made Alexander very interested in Austrailia, he had a digereedoo in his room, he was upset that he didn't get Australia for his school project and the music sounded Australian. It was really a cool detail that I thought made it. And there were a lot of stupid little things that I don't think would happen in real life... but over all it was pretty cute. I thought they did a pretty good job!
Big Hero 6- This is kind of one of my new favorite movies! I thought it was really clever and well done... it was kind of sad, but the animation was so cute and the charters were all really cool. I thought it had a good message to kids and I bet a lot of kids will go into robotic engineering because of this movie. The voices were all amazing too Scott Adsit from 30 Rock was in it, Julie Chung, TJ Miller, Maya Rudolph. It was really good, everything about it was amazing... one of the best animated movies in my opinion. I love Baymax! So cute! Great movie!
Guardians of The Galaxy- I'm watching this right now actually and I'm really happy its on because it works well to watch after Big Hero 6. This is my favorite Marvel Movie... I'm not a big Marvel fan though lol. This is the most fun, kind of one of my favorite movies period... I think they just did a great job and its like a funny Star Wars with a good soundtrack. I love that its equally a comedy and action movie. Really good. I am Groot!
Arrow- I've been wanting to watch this for a while now and I decided to watch the pilot. So far so good. Really like the characters and cast, I can't wait to get to the last season that aired, which I guess is season 3 and see how it connects with The Flash... which I haven't seen yet either but I will once the entire first season is available on some streaming place. Idk if I'll be caught up before the season starts, but maybe around their fall or winter hiatus. I have a bunch of shows I want to watch/rewatch so I think I'm going to try watching them all at the same time kind of.
