Weekly Favorites: August 23, 2015. + More random stuff and Funko Pop Haul

So its weekly Favorites time! I feel like I knew my favorites pretty early this week, so I'm just going to hop right into it.

Bojack Horesman- I love this show. Its one of my favorites and because I was watching The X Files so much, I hadn't seen the second season right away... but right now I'm caught up on The X Files Files and I sort of want to slow down on watching them... just a little bit, so that gave me some time to catch up on Season 2 of Bojack Horseman... and it is just as funny and sad as Season 1... if not more so!

This show is really one of the most unique shows ever. It has horse and animals as people and its really really funny, but its also very melancholy. Its kind of like real life. You can have all the fame and fortune you want and still be unhappy, and Bojack is and its sad. These characters all have real problems and its sad to watch... but at the same time its too funny to really be a dark comedy. Its just a really fantastic, well written unique comedy with the dark themes of real life. Its pretty much as funny as it is dark, so it balances out well.

Its not something everyone will like, but its something I feel like a lot of people would. If you like Archer, this is kind of like Archer, just a little darker. But Archer is pretty dark for a comedy too, so its interesting. Its layered.

Royal Wedding by Meg Cabot- I've been so excited for this new Princess Diaries book and it did not disappoint! So far at least, I have like 30-something pages left. Its got a lot going on and there are a lot of twists and... its just been a really fun and funny summer read. Just like the other books! I think this is my favorite because the end is so happy and I hope she continues with the series a little more! I'm sure she will!

Pumpkin Spice Shreded Mini Wheats Cereal- My mom just found this today and it is fantastic. Its the frosted mini wheats from pos, which are something we never ate that much... but with a pumpkin frosting that I really like. These taste good and they have quite a lot of fiber in them... so you know its good for you and stuff. Lol. Its really yummy and I like it. Might have some for dinner cause I had a big lunch.

Random Stuff Haul!

So at Barnes and Noble Last Week I saw a notebook that said "Evil Schemes" on it and my mom was nice enough to get it for me this week! Its just a really cute idea to get someone for back to school... especially when that someone loves minions. I keep it in my purse. Lol. Its fun.

I also got a charlie Brown Sweatshirt from Forever 21... because why not! I thought it was cute and I probably won't wear it out of the house, but its comfy and I might sleep in it and stuff. Its adorable.

And from Hot Topic I went in there looking for the "Gone Batty" Funko Pop minion, which is the Dracula one... I didn't see it but everything was buy one get one half off, so I looked at the other Funkos and I saw Joy from Inside Out... which I kind of wanted and Special Agent Fox Mulder from The X Files... so I got them because I haven't seen Mulder before and I wanted him and I was a little bummed they didn't have Scully... but whatever. I was happy with Mulder and Joy.

Then I walk out and I saw the Gone Batty Minion and they had a bunch of them near the window... so of corse I had to buy it! I didn't get anything else half off, but the dracula minion is my favorite... and I wanted it. So in like a week I know have quite a nice Funko collection. They're addictive. Lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
