What I Watched This Week

So... this is a little bit weirder of a post, but I figured I would do it anyway... Its kind of like This Week In TV, but it will include things I'm catching up on, what I'm watching on Netflix, movies and things like that. Sometimes I start watching the same shows over and over and they aren't necessarily new shows, but I feel the need to talk about them... so I figured here is a catch all where I can just talk about everything!

So right after my things I want to watch on Netflix post, I watched a lot more of Comedy Bang Bang the TV Show. I love the podcast and I really like the TV show too, but I hardly ever watch it because its on IFC I always forget when its on and stuff. And I was watching it on Netflix but then I stopped cause I got busy. That's been really good and really funny.

Also somehow in all this Comedy Bang Bang watching and listening too... I got a crush on Andy Daily... which is weird? Lol I already did a MCM about him, so I won't get too much into it, but I've started watching Review with Forest McNeal again... I've finished watching this show, its in my 2014 favorites... it is one of the funniest shows on tv right now, I cannot wait for it to come back. Its really good and I just can't get enough of it. Lol.

I also watched a few episodes of An Idiot Abroad. This is a really funny show with Stephen Merchant, Ricky Gervais and Carl Pelkington and they send Carl to all these places like India, Jordan and China that they know he won't like because he's an idiot lol. He complains about a lot of the weird customs and it kind of gives you the negative perspective of a lot of these gorgeous countries and landmarks that you may want to visit. Its good to watch if you want to travel and can't afford it cause... you might not want to go there as much after you see some of the stuff. This is on Netflix, while it was on television (I watched the first few episodes on tv) they censored some of the language and nudity... in this they do not. Be warned that there is a lot of full frontal nudity in the 2nd episode. Its all very graphic, there are definitely some things they do with their bodies that look painful and you might not want to watch... lol thats all I can say about the second episode. There are also some cuisines they eat that you may not want to speculate as to what it is. Really funny show, but not for kids or for the faint of heart. Just so you know.

On a different note, a show that is great for kids and for adults alike is Even Stevens! I either just posted a Throwback Thursday on this or I will post one on it, but it is a really funny show. I used to watch it on Saturday Mornings and my parents and grandfather used to think it was funny to. It still totally holds up. I think its actually more funny now. Much like Rugrats, I really think I like it more as a grown up.

Started rewatching some episodes of Broad City... It's such a funny show. I wasn't in love with the first episode when I first saw it... Like when it first debuted and then I watched it again and the show is just super funny and it's another one I feel like I can watch over and over and it's still really funny and good.

And Bevers is so funny on the show, and I love him in Marry Me, which I've been catching up on this week. Really I was only behind a couple episodes, but its a good show and I'm really excited to see Nia Vardalos's upcoming episodes.Ken Marino and Casey Wilson are sooo good together. They're super cute and funny. And the whole cast just works well together. Tim Meadows is on it too... its just really funny. Plus it makes me happy that Casey Wilson married David Caspe, who created this show and Happy Endings. They lived on the same street in New York years apart before they met. That's kind of cool!

I've also watched a few shows currently on tv that came back this week. I watched most of this week's episode of The Middle, I watched American Horror Story... which was awesome! NPH does a fantastic job as a really creepy character, I think thats where he shines. I'm really interested in where this season is going now... its not my favorite, I'm feeling like its getting a bit boring, but this episode was good. I've watched @ Midnight, which is weirdly on at 11:30 for the next couple weeks before Larry Willmore's show comes on, and I forgot to watch it Thursday, and they've had some really good guests on this week. Paul F. Tompkins, Andy Daily, Nikki Glaser, Ron Funchs, Scott Auckerman, Paul Scheer... lots of funny people. It was a good week. Rugrats and Hey Arnold I've watched. I like it.

And that is it... I've been meaning to watch Camp Takota all week... but I haven't yet. I will! I promise!

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
