Throwback Thursday: Even Stevens!

I'm so excited about this Throwback Thursday! My cousin told me that on New Years Eve they showed the Even Stevens musical episode at like one in the morning, and I tivoed it so that we could all watch it together because they came over New Years Day and it was really fun. We had a fun little blast from the past with that and we still really enjoyed the show!

There are also several episodes on youtube... so I did a bit more watching and stuff. Its a really funny show. Like I feel like its funnier now than it was when I was a kid. Louis is just so funny and over the top... its no wonder Shia LeBeouf is crazy now! Lol.

I watched the Halloween Episode, which I always remembered as being really funny and really creepy. When I was a kid my lights in my room went out around halloween... but I didn't really want to change the lightbulb or anything cause I wanted to watch my halloween shows in the dark and I had cool lights that other people had gotten me, like a cool purple tube light and a disco light and a ghost lamp... so I was excited to use those lol. Anyway I watched it with my lights out and it was creepy and fun. And it was still really funny and creepy. It's a lot like the episode of Community where everyone turns into a zombie except Troy. Anyway really good.

There was the episode where Louis and Twiddy sold tickets for people to see Ren's sleepover. The Sadie Hawkins dance where Ren goes with a pig. The episode where Ren's boyfriend cheats on her... that show got REAL! lol.

And of corse the musical episode where Ren has the flu and she dreams that she goes to school anyway and has a report due about astronauts and the only thing she knew about it was that we went to the moon in 1969. Its so funny. Even funnier to watch as an adult.

The parents and the hot older brother are also really really funny. Just a funny cast overall. Do not let current feelings about Shia Lebeouf possibly being a cannibal fool you and get you to not watch it... cause its awesome! Lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
