Scribbles about Food: Ranking of Starbucks Holiday Lattes

This is my ranking of the Holiday Beverages... I feel like my answers may be controversial... but this is what I think.

7) Salted Caramel- Not gonna lie, this used to be wayyy higher on the list, but I had it with one of their chocolate brownies one time... and it was just wayyyy too much. I'm not one that thinks things are too sweet or chocolatey or rich... but this was wayyy wayyy too much. It made me a little sick. I don't think I can have the Salted Caramel Mocha or hot chocolate again... but I want to try Dunkins... lol.

6) Peppermint Mocha- Good but I really have to be in the mood for this one. White mocha peppermint is really good too. I just don't usually pick this one.

5) Caramel Brulee -This is a really good and flavorful flavor. Its a little more flavorful than the Chestnut or the Gingerbread... but its just like a regular Caramel Latte with some flakeys on top. It loses some points for not being Christmasy enough.

4) Chestnut Praline- I was so impressed with the deliciousness of this! For a new flavor, this is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Its really good. Different from the other flavors, a really nice christmasy drink.

3) Gingerbread Latte- Delicious delicious delicious. I love Gingerbread cookies... I'm a bit of a stickler with Gingerbread Lattes but this one is quite delicious. Very gingerbready, really nice.

2) Pumpkin Spice Latte- Sooo soo good! I used to think I liked the gingerbread more, but its hard to beat the PSL and its deliciousness. Plus its so exciting when the PSL comes out because its the start of fall which means my birthday is soon and then Christmas and its just a nice time. Love this drink!

1) Egg Nog Latte- And my number one top pick for a holiday beverage is actually the Egg Nog Latte. For some reason this tastes more gingerbready and flavorful to me than the Gingerbread. If its made right, it tastes completely amazing. If not it isn't quite as good, but most of the time its delicious and amazing. Its just my favorite! Plus they use Hood Egg Nog which is the absolute best1

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
