Christmas It List!

Yes! It is Christmas time, so I will talk about my It list for things that are an absolute must around the holidays!

1) ABC Family's 25 days of Christmas- This is probably one of my favorite things about the holidays. They show the best holiday movies, and just some good movies in general. They have all the claymation movies, both Grinch Movies, Elf and Christmas Vacation. Plus every once and a while they have good Disney movies also like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and Hercules. When I went to Disney for high school we came back and they were showing all the classic Disney movies and that just made me feel really good. That made me like Disney even better... plus Elf and Christmas Vacation are my other favorites! Love it!

2) Egg Nog- I've mentioned my love for Nog many a times on this blog. I could even do a whole Nog Blog, but I won't. My favorite Egg Nog of ALL TIME was Hood's Sugar Cookie Egg Nog... and I don't think they make that anymore which upsets me to my very core. Lol. I want to find the Hood farm or whatever and yell at them until they bring it back... but yeah. Nog in general is my fave.

3) Land o' Lakes Hot Chocolate- My other fave! I feel like this is probably underrated, but its always sold out at my grocery store, so I guess it isn't. Land o' Lakes has the best flavored hot chocolate. They have Raspberry, Vanilla, White Chocolate, Caramel, Mint, Hazelnut... so many flavors! The only bad thing is they don't come with mini marshmallows... but that is why god invented Marshmallow Fluff. A lot of people are always surprised when they come to my house and we have fluff with hot chocolate... and its such a simple thing! I won't drink hot chocolate without marshmallows because to me that seems like something a sociopath would do. Lol.

4) Frosty Friends Ornaments- Are these not the cutest ornaments!?!?! They always have different igloos and little animals and they are just incredibly cute. I lovessss it!

5) Charlie Brown- I love Charlie Brown. Merry Christmas Charlie Brown is always amazing, it pretty much sums out everything that is right and wrong with Christmas, and it really gives meaning back to the holiday season for me. If there is one movie to get me in the Christmas spirit, its this. I also like Charlie Brown decorations and I saw there is a snoopy sweater at Target that is adorable! And I love it! My mom has told me about a thousand times that they showed kids a bunch of older cartoon characters and only 35% knew the Peanuts gang! That almost makes me okay with the reboot. And I like Paul Feig... but still.

6) Vlogmas- I've been loving watching youtubers do vlogmas. I always kind of forget how much I like vlogs and then I'll watch a bunch of Vlogmas videos from people and that will make me like them as a whole. Uhhh yeah! Lol.

7) Hershey's Cherry Kisses- The best holiday candy that currently exists! I think these are my favorite version of Hershey's kisses. I was so bummed when I went to Hershey in the summer and they didn't have them... but now they do and I will eat them! They're just sooo sooo yummy. They taste like the real chocolate cherry's. Like really good chocolate and yeah. They are so so so so yummy.

8) A Muppet Christmas Carol- The best Christmas Carol that exists. Period. Yeah, I love muppets, I love the Marley and Marley song... I love it all!

9) The Victoria Secret Fashion Show- So I've watched this the past 3 years and I've kind of liked it. Mostly because afterwards Victoria Secret has a bunch of freebies and they have really cute and nice flannel pajamas! I am getting a pair for Christmas and I picked it out, its got the New York, Paris, and London skylines or landmarks all on it. Its really really cute!

10) Musicals- I love watching and or going to see musicals around Christmas time. I'm excited for Into The Woods and I'll probably see that sometime after Christmas. And I've seen Elf The Musical a couple of times on broadway around Christmas time... I'm excited that the animated special is using music from that in the special... and yeah. If a musical comes out in the summer, I'll usually wait to see it around Christmas time because that makes more sense to me.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
