WHO IS JULIO????? Bruno Mars Theory

So today I have another sort of short, unplanned blog because... that's just how life works sometimes.

Anyway I was just listening to Uptown Funk on the radio today in the car with my mom... enjoying the catchy tune... when all of a sudden I heard the line "Julio, get the stretch!" And I was like "Oh he's telling someone named Julio to do something. Normal for a Bruno Mars song. Wait... that is normal for a Bruno Mars song... he does this in another song.

And then I realized he says "Julio, serve that Scampi" in That's What I like. WHATTT????? WHO IS JULIO????

Easy Explanation: It's just a name in a couple of songs.

Slightly Less Easy Explanation: It's Bruno's assistant/ personal chef.

Honestly... I could find out. I'm not the first person that noticed this... there's a reddit thread about it. There was a video where Dua Lipa tried to find out... I did not watch the video because I'm watching Brooklyn 99 right now... but still.

A lot of people are saying they think he's a limo driver... but I don't think its necessarily implying he drives the limo... he might just be calling the Limo people.

He might be someone that hangs out by the Schoolyard.

Either way... he is a person. Or not. It could just be a name.

And I did just discover this today- when it's probably been a thing since That's What I Like came out at least. And maybe Uptown Funk just gave it to me.

Bye!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
