Pop Culture Things that are Important Right Now... That I haven't seen/ followed yet.

Creativity flows in some mysterious ways. I was  stumped at what to write tonight... which is why this is going to be a short and late blog... but here's just some things I've sort of missed.

The Masked Singer
Alllllright I need to watch this. Apparently it's really good and my friend keeps posting on facebook "do you guys know this singer" and I don't know if I'd be good at this show... but I'd be intrigued. Plus everyone is famous already... so that is a bonus. It's nice to see people that aren't famous yet trying to get fame... but it's nice to see people you actually recognize and love. That seems exciting to me. I don't know what channel this is on... or if it is on demand... but I might watch it on demand.

The Haunting on Hill House
I KNOW! I KNOW! I need to watch this one- I'm excited to watch it because I did see the first episode and I did honestly love it.... but I need to watch it again and finish the full thing. I feel like this and Sabrina were both big around the same time and because I watched Sabrina The Teenage Witch as a kid. I'm currently binging the DVDs that I got... and I love it. But tangent... this one is one I'm definitely going to watch and I'm excited for it.

Bandersnatch
Alright... I was pretty excited for this... and when I started it... I was a little bit disappointed. 1) I was hoping for a full season of Black Mirror... and not that a movie isn't good... but I wanted a full season. And the Choose Your Own Adventure... kind of wasn't really anything... which I think was the point of the movie... but I don't know this is just something I'll watch and finish... but ehh.

Birdbox

I don't even really get what this one is. So... mehhh?

There are probably a lot more I'm not going to mention them now... so Thank you, Next... this was a pop culture thing I was behind on.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
