Bachelor Buzz: Is it really a Cougar Den?????

Alright so I was a little bit late watching The Bachelor this week... but it was a good one and I feel like I have a lot to talk about.

First off The Cougar Den- which is basically what they are calling the girls that are 27 and up. The oldest girl there is 31... which is not very old and 27 is not only my actual age but also only 1 year older than Colton... so I feel like it's unfair to call them cougars. I'm 27 and my boyfriend is younger than Colton... and I don't think I am a cougar.

But the Older vs. Younger dynamic was kind of the theme of the episode. There was Elyse who totally owned being one of the oldest ladies in the Mansion. They were asked to tell a story of "Their First Time" and she mentioned that this was her first time dating a younger man. This earned her the "Group Date" rose from Colton who was impressed that she really opened up and was true to herself.

In other memorable moments Tracy, also 31 told a story of when she first tried to date a virgin that her friend was also after and actually punched her in the face for... and then there was Demi- who told the story about how she won the first first impression Rose and she grabbed Colton from the audience and kissed him.

Tracy was very jealous of this and she ended up crying at Demi's intimidation tactics. Demi grabbed the rose and said "This is my rose" after the group date... and of corse she didn't end up getting that particular rose... but she did get a rose. To be honest I was kind of surprised Colton didn't give her the rose... but I liked that he chose Elyse.

After that was the first one on one date with Hannah B AKA Miss Alabama... but not Alabama Hannah that got the first impression rose. She was acting really phony on the first part of the date and she and Colton had no Chemistry. She was trying to be "Perfect" and was acting too "Cute" and I gotta respect Colton for not taking that. He said he wasn't sure if he was going to give her a rose or not after the date because she really didn't open up at all during the day part. During their nighttime dinner she opened up a little more and Colton appreciated that and gave her a rose.

Next up was the Camp Out Date where the winning team got to stay over night with Colton and camp and the losing team went back to the mansion... where I believe they were sent home afterwards. Heather was on the winning team and opened up about her virginity and the fact that she's never been kissed. Colton gave her the Group Date rose for that group date.

Also I lied, the only 2 that were sent home from not winning the Camping game were Alex B and Erika. Angelique and Annie were also sent home but they were not on either group date... Sooooo that seems crappy and unfair. Maybe they were but I checked this article to see who was eliminated and it didn't include them in either group date... so who knows.

I also want to talk about Onyeka for a second because I really liked her when she was first introduced and I think she's really pretty and has a good personality... but in this episode I could definitely see her becoming the villain a little bit... and the other girls were almost kind of encouraging it. Onyeka told about how she first rescued Colton from "Drowning in some bitches" because Catherine stole time from other girls and then she used a horn to steal him away this time... and I know someone else came in with a noisemaker and one of them said "I'm not going away."

Demi also came out in a robe and brought him upstairs to give him a massage... which made everyone upset... especially Tracy- who she stole him away from and was already being "victimized" by Demi and her youth and the fact that she was kind of picking on the older ladies.

One last thing I wanted to mention: Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman and Billy Eichner all guest starred... and they were all super funny.

So who are some of my favorites this week... Tayshia- I thought it was really cute when her and Colton were cuddling after the camp date. They seem to have really good chemistry. Elyse I think is doing a good job of not getting involved in the drama.

There was a moment when one of the girls at camp was talking with Never Been Kissed Heather- and that was really sweet. Not sure who it was... but it was the other blonde girl on the winning team I guess.

They also showed Demi playing with the Tassles on her dress... that was the best part of the episode... but I'm going to say her and Miss Alabama Hannah are my 2 least favorites this week.

Also RIP if you took a drink every time Miss Alabama mentioned that it was her birthday... cause I don't think I can drink that much.

That'll do it for today's Bachelor Buzz- but tune in Next time when Miss Alabama exposes Miss Carolina for being a horrible person... and possibly to see the scene of Colton jumping over the fence.

Bye!
-Shannon

Scribbles About TV: Jane The Virgin Finale Review (SPOILERS)

So.... Can we talk about all the twists because there were a lot! I didn't even see all of them coming! Alrighty we start out in typical Jane The Virgin Mode with Jane's choice between Raphael and Michael... I'd be okay with either but I think I'm team Michael. Jane has a weird moment with Raphael and thinks she's better off without him and just having him be the father of her child. She's also starting to have some feelings for Michael again. Then she almost has the baby on the bus and some woman helps her and gets the bus driver to take her to the hospital. Rogellio and Xo are in Vegas and they get drunk and can't remember what happens, but they make it just in time to see Jane deliver a baby boy. I knew it would be a boy! Lets pause on that a little and go to Michael and his ex partner/friend with benefits who comes back says she has a lead on Sin Rostro, gives him an address where the plastic surgeon is and by the time Michael gets there, he's de

Disney Store Closing Haul

So if you read my post from yesterday- you know that I love The Disney Store, but it is unfortunately closing. I did pick up some things from the store that I thought I'd share with you guys! I did get a couple of t shirts. One is a Star Wars shirt, which is technically a men's shirt but I thought it looked really cool and I don't like that Disney doesn't carry the same things for men and for women. For the most part they look unisex to me and a lot of their men's stuff has characters I like better. Like the star wars shirt for women was grey with pink lettering and had no pictures, but the mens shirt had a really cool metallic silver logo on black clothing with pictures of all the new characters and Luke inside of the letters... much cooler! So I got that! The other shirt I got is really funny and it has Sleeping Beauty on it and it says "I Woke Up Like This." Which I really liked! Super cute and funny and my niece likes it when I wear shirts with c

Scribbles About Life: 3.10.16

Soooo... I don't really want to post about my day... but I don't really want to post anything else either. I started writing something about female characters in movies and TV... but I just didn't like what I was writing and... idk... I was a blog writing machine this week and now I feel defeated. I wrote a ton on Monday and Tuesday and now I just don't feel like doing a post today... but I want to write still... So I'll talk about things that I guess are on my mind lately... Idk. So I got this Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor... and for some reason... I'm addicted to the way that it smells. Idk why, it smells like cherry medicine... but I also sort of like it. Its more cherry than medicine... and I can't smell it on my lips... but Idk. I keep smelling it in the tube. I got some cute stuff from American Eagle yesterday too! I got a dress and a romper... I do not own any Rompers... except this one... but it looked good on me and it didn't make me look f
