Disney Junior Shows- Babysitter Review

So I realize I have reviewed a few things my niece watches from time to time... and I thought I'd review some things that are on Disney Junior... from a Babysitter's perspective. It's also her birthday this weekend... so that is slightly the inspiration behind it all.

Now there are some kids shows that are just kind of terrible for grown ups to watch... I would say all these shows are pretty darn cute and definitely watchable.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is the one I'd put on the less enjoyable side... but it's still pretty darn cute. It's got Mickey Mouse on it so it can't be too bad right? Sort of. I do prefer Mickey and The Roadster Racers- which is a newer show and I don't know. Just something fun about the Mickey characters driving cars. Plus there are little shorts in it where Minnie and Daisy are "Happy Helpers" with their sarcastic Bird friend... it's fun.

Next I'll talk about Vampirina. I really like how this show is animated. I'm not quite sure why but I think it's really cute and it looks like a not scary haunted house. It just looks really fun and it's cute. They also sing on the show sometimes- which my niece likes.

Speaking of singing... probably my favorite is Fancy Nancy! She has a lot of songs. This show reminds me of Rugrats a little bit cause you see all these "Fancy" things from the point of view of a little girl who just kind of plays pretend to create her own little "fancy" fun. It's adorable. And she sings about things like Christmas, butterflies and Paris... its sweet. Plus I think it's fun that she uses big words or french words and she'll explain what it means right after... that way kids can learn some big words too. It's cute.

My other favorite is probably Puppy Dog Pals... which also reminds me a little bit of Rugrats. These 2 puppies try to do things... usually nice things for their owner Bob who invents puppy toys for them. It's really cute. They always sing a "We're going on a mission" song too... which is fun. They have a lot of really fun toys out... and my niece loves puppies... so this is perfect. And it is probably the funniest of all these shows... except maybe Fancy Nancy.

Another one is Muppet Babies. I think my niece likes the muppets because they're cute and they do look like babies. She points to penguins a lot now and I think because of the penguin they have.

Ohh and PJ Masks! Which is always fun to watch!

And they have some shorts that they show too. One is something called Sunnies, which are just little bunnies that are really colorful and cute. They also have the new Mickey Mouse shorts, they have some Tsum Tsum shorts and the chick from Rilakkuma... it is all super cute. And it's nice for little kids cause they don't talk and it's just a lot of bright colorful characters.

I think that is everything! I hope you guys like it a lot!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
