Weekly Wrap Up:7.26.20

Favorites

The House on Hurley Pond Road- So my coworker lent me this book a few months ago... and I really like it! It's actually a really scary true story of a house that isn't all that far from where I live. It's written by Darren Fitzgerald and Michael S. Burke... so far I've read up to Darren's encounter living in the house. It's really scary! I think I might read more horror books leading up to Halloween!

Baby Yoda from Build a Bear- I broke down and ordered the Build a Bear Baby Yoda... and it is adorable!
Yoga- So Yoda- and Yoga are favorites! I've actually been getting a little bit better and I've actually been doing it almost every day- so that's really good. I think I've mentioned I've been following Yoga With Adrienne's channel and I've been doing her 30 days of Yoga from 2015. It's really good! So far I think I've only missed 2 days since I started with the first video so I'm on Day 7... but I started like 9 days ago. It's fun and... my slightly too big pants are now very too big. So I guess I'm losing some weight from it.

Life Scribbles

I worked a lot this week...A LOT! I had off last Sunday and on Friday- which was nice. Plus I came back from vacation. It was also my dog Spencer's 7th Birthday! He had Ice Cream for breakfast! Other than that I went out with my boyfriend Friday... and that was pretty much everything.

Noteworthy Snacks

Smart Pop Popcorn is really delicious! I hadn't really had it before- and it's been a while since I've had popcorn... so I'm pretty excited to be eating some of this. I miss popcorn at the movies... and going to the movies. I think I might never not get a movie snack again.

TV Highlights

So this isn't on TV- but Matt Pat from Film Theory and Game Theory started a Food Theory channel... and I actually think it's really interesting. I think my favorite episode was the one about what Fast Food French Fry is the best value. Idk I knew a lot of the food things he talked about- but I still thought it was fun to watch.

Thoughts
I've been working hard this week... but hard work pays off. And... that's pretty cool!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
