Weekly Wrap Up 7.19.20

Favorites

Animal Crossing- I played this game pretty much all day for the last 2 days. I know this is always a favorite- but I really like how my island is turning out... it's really coming together and it looks really good now! I feel like I have a lot of room!

The Two Lives of Lydia Bird- I wanted to read a few books this week... and that didn't totally happen but I did pick up this book again by Josie Silver. It's just a sweet book and it isn't really making me sad anymore.

Yoga- I've been doing Yoga every once and a while... I have to say I was really lazy the last couple of days and I haven't done it... but I think I'll try another yoga video after I finish this. I've been doing Yoga With Adrienne Videos because she's just a really great teacher and her videos are just easy and fun.

Friends- So I haven't watched as much Friends as I did during the quarantine... but I did still watch quite a bit of Friends. It's a really great show. And I watched some of the last season- which is really funny. The One With Ross's Tan is one of my favorite episodes... it's so funny. I think I would do the same thing as Ross- which is why I don't Tan.

I watched a lot of The Office too... so that's a favorite too... but I kind of always watch that when it's on... I always watch Friends when it's on too... but yeah. Good stuff.

Life Scribbles

So I had vacation from work this week! So I kind of did nothing... and I can't believe I have to go back tomorrow already... but it was fun!

I went in the pool a lot, I did go shopping quite a bit. I saw my boyfriend a couple of times which was great. I went to my grandmother's house and we got Chili's classic nachos for lunch... which were delicious!

So for the shopping I went to the Outlets... which I don't think I want to go back to anytime soon. Not a lot of people wearing masks properly if at all... including some workers that worked in the stores there. I did get a few things from Express- which was great. And I got to go to Target and I got a few things there. They have some super cute jewelry right now!

And that's it... just kind of relaxing. All very good.

Noteworthy Snacks

So I mentioned Chili's classic Nachos- which were great... and I also went to Frutta Bowls a couple of times... and I really love them! Particularly the Frutta Bowl- that's what I always order! Its sooo good!

And I went to Panchero- which is kind of like Chipotle but I prefer Panchero! I got a Burrito Bowl with Chicken... and if you want to know the full order Rice, Black Beans, Chicken Corn Salsa and USUALLY I get Pico- but I accidentally ordered Mild instead and Queso and Sour Cream. It was really good.

Famous Amos Cookies is another thing- they actually show him on an episode of The Office... which I saw this week and then needed the cookies.

My mom also found these Kahlua mixed drinks. They have White Russians and Mudslides... I preferred the White Russian because it was a bit more flavorful.

And Stewarts drinks. Right now I'm drinking the Orange n Cream which is a super nostalgic flavor to me because it reminds me of this hot dog stand that I used to go to with my grandparents in Buttzville (lol) NJ... It's called Hot Dog Johnny's and I actually looked up the website and was surprised it was updated so well. I think I had an orange creamsicle Ice Cream Bar when I went there and this just brings me RIGHT back there.

And Funions... these are just my favorite as of late... I really like them!

TV Highlights

There's a new show called United We Fall that came on this week... It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. But if you remember the show Taina from Nickelodeon- Taina is the mom on the show... and she's really funny and she looks the same. It's exciting to see her again.

Thoughts

Nostalgia... it's a good thing. I'm still drinking that Stewarts drink right now and it's just a cool feeling to remember that hot dog stand so vividly.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
