Five Below Haul! Snacks, Writing Supplies and more!

Alright- so I've been going to 5 below... kind of a lot now. And I don't quite remember everything I bought from there... but I do have the receipt for one order and I can kind of remember some other things I've bought recently... so yeah!

First off... let's start with the snacks!

I got a S'mores candy bar from the brand  Chuao. I really like this brand and they usually have a good selection of flavors at Five Below. This one was really good and you could taste all the s'mores flavors!

I also really like the Reese's Take 5 Bars... Take 5 Bars are already really good- combine it with Reese's and it's amazing. I also grabbed a reese's Fast break bar because... those are underrated too and that was also really good.

And they had White Chocolate Twix and that sounded delicious...

And when I was at the checkout I saw they had Almond Pockey... so I grabbed that too!

Okay... I think that's all the snacks I got now onto some random things...

I've been doing Yoga a lot lately- so I grabbed a Yoga book. It's from Anatomy of Fitness and it is 501 Yoga Exercises. I've been doing Yoga With Adrienne videos- but I thought this might be a good way to see the different poses a little better and see what they look like and maybe practice without doing a yoga video.

I also grabbed the movie Paranormal Activity 3... weirdly this is my favorite Paranormal Activity Movie. I liked the first one too- but idk if I could watch that one again... and I didn't really like the 2nd movie and the fourth movie was okay but not scary and... there were too many coincidences in that movie. It was a little weird. And I never saw the last movie or The Marked Ones... so I can't compare it to those.

Anyway- for $5 it was worth it.

I also grabbed an Amiibo of Celeste from Animal Crossing. You guys know I love Animal Crossing and Celeste is one of my favorites!!!

And the rest is all paper supplies! I got this one really cool sketchbook that I've been using as a bullet Journal... and it's been good and I like having a nice big book for it.

Next up I actually got 2 packs of my favorite pens- the Pilot Frixon Erasable Gel Pens. These write sooo nice... but they're really expensive. Here even I think they were $5 which is kind of a lot- especially since the pack only had 1 black and one blue pen... but I thought I'd use it and I was excited to find it kind of useful and I think it was cheaper than Target's.

I also got some Marble Mechanical pencils because I thought they looked pretty. These break off easily because of how it clicks up and down instead of having the turny thing on the tip of the pencil to control it... but I still thought it was fun.

Anyway this was a nice, fun haul... and I really liked the stuff I ended up getting.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
