Barnes and Noble Haul... again...

Sooo... I have a book problem lol. I bought too much stuff at Barnes and Noble yet again- but I'm happy with what I bought so I have to share it.

First thing... this is actually the last thing that I picked up but A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. My boyfriend loves this series and I have his other two books from the series but I think he lent the first book to a friend of his and I don't think they've read it yet so I grabbed the first book so that I could finally read it.

I also got Heavy Vinyl Volume 2 this is a comic book by Carly Usdin. I read Volume 1 last year and I didn't know  they were making a Volume 2- but my boyfriend found it and I was really excited for it!

I also got a really nice Rose Gold Deck of Cards. Idk why really- but my boyfriend saw them and wanted them and I really liked how the Rose Gold Deck looked and he liked it a lot too. We need to learn some card games cause these are pretty cool.

I also got a Yoga book- which is kind of what I was looking for. I like doing Yoga Videos from Yoga With Adrienne on youtube- but I also kind of wanted a book about Yoga just to kind of perfect doing different Yoga Positions and learn a little bit more about Yoga in general. I believe this has some meditation and breathing guides too so that's really good. I haven't been doing Yoga too long- but I want to keep up with it and I thought this would be a good thing to get to keep up with it. This book is by Rachel Scott.

Okay so I got a book on lettering because that's been a hobby of mine lately. I like to make cards and this book had some other projects also. Plus it just looked like a really cool way to make some different letters for things- so I really wanted to try it! The book is called Lettering Alphabets and Artwork by Jay Roeder. I'm really excited to use some of these!

And the last thing I got is a little weird- but The Crystal Handbook by Judy Hall. I like crystals and I like knowing what exactly they're good for and what they can help with.

So that is everything! It was a lot of guide books that I didn't really need... but I like having stuff like that on hand for some reason... idk. Maybe it was too much but it makes me happy and it's stuff I'm interested in.

So that is everything! I hope you guys like it!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
