Ranking Every Adam Sandler Movie

So I just did my Throwback Thursday Review of Pixels... and I saw an Article Ranking every Adam Sandler Movie... so I thought why not rank the one's I've seen. I haven't seen them all... some I saw as a kid... but I still have pretty strong feelings about the best and the worst ones... so yeah. I will rank what I know... based on what I know about them... so here we go! I'm not including Hotel Transylvania or movies that he was not the main star of... just the starring movies. Billy Madison  Happy Gilmore  Big Daddy  Mr. Deeds  Anger Management  50 First Dates  Spanglish Click  I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry  You Don't Mess With the Zohan  Bedtime Stories Funny People  Pixels 13) Click- I've gone back and forth when I was writing this list... I didn't see this in theaters, just on TV... but I watched it enough to know that this is no one's favorite Sandler movie. It's definitely forgettable... It is both funny and sad- and I thin

Throwback Thursday: Pixels

This is a movie I've never seen before... but I've always kind of wanted to... and despite the awful reviews... it was pretty fun to watch. I have a lot of problems with it... but honestly... I had fun watching it. I watched it while trying to clear out my room for new furniture... and after the Pac Man scene it was kind of hard to focus on anything else... it was pretty fun to watch. My main issue with the movie... It's incredibly misogynistic... where to even begin with that... there are a lot of jokes that are not the best picture of women. I'm sure the intent of these jokes weren't to demean women... but this is almost a kids movie (I'll get to that in a bit)... and when you hear them joking about the husband leaving the wife for a 19 year old named Sinnamon, Adam Sandler's character thinking that the wife that was dumped for Sinnamon would be old and unattractive because her husband left her, Peter Dinklage's character saying he wished he had chos

Scribbles about Food: Starbucks Food

Starbucks is one of my favorite places ever... and I've been eating food from Starbucks more and more and loving it more and more lately! So... I'm going to talk about what I've been getting recently and maybe some other old favorites. I'll start out with the Breakfast sandwiches because that is what kind of started this obsession with Starbucks food. I usually get the Sausage Egg and Cheese... it is delicious. The sausage is a little bit spicy, the cheese is really cheesy... and there's also an egg... so that's a thing? Lol. It's on bread that is kind of like an English Muffin. I think the "Cheese" on this one is cheddar... and it's just really really good. They warm it up for you in the store itself... I don't usually go to the store- my mom picks it up for me... so I sometimes need to re- heat it by the time she gets home... they'll usually heat up food before you get your drinks... so if you're the one eating that that is awes

Chart Chat 6.26.17

Alrighty! Let's see what's number 10... and then what's number 1. With the other numbers in the middle! 10) Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2- Ughhhh I wanted to see this movie! I thought I'd see it this weekend... life happened so I didn't see it but I hope it's on DVD soon because I don't think I'll see it before it goes out. If I see any movie it'll be Despicable Me 3... and idk if I'll see that... so yeah. 9) Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie- This looks funny. This was another one that I was kind of surprised by... similar to the new Smurfs movie... I thought this would be a little bit more popular than it was. I can see why it wasn't... but it looks like a fun story of Friendship and it just looks fun! 8) Rough Night- Idk about this one... hasn't been doing to well on the charts either... so I'm guessing a lot of people were like "nahhh... I'd rather see The Mummy." Which is a little shocking to me... b

Bullet Journal for Beginners: Favorite Spreads / Useful Tips

I just started Bullet Journaling… this is something I kind of love to do lately and here are just kind of my favorite things to do with this… There is no right or wrong way to do this… but this is what’s been working for me.  Habit Tracker  This is just one of my favorite things that I’ve been doing… keeping track of what I should be doing. I never really thought this was something I would do because a lot of people have things like “Don’t drink alcohol” and just things… that aren’t necessarily unimportant but it isn’t relevant to me… but then I was like Ohhh I could keep track of doing a lot of blogs, I could write down when I do things like read and meet my step goal and those sorts of things. I just kind of make like a graph type thing and color in every day and I put a little X when I don’t do that thing… and it is weirdly satisfying. I have mine for June already and I made other things… it’s just kind of cool. I was happy with the way it turned out.  Mood Log  A lot o

Let's just take everything I own... and put it over there!

So I recently told you guys I went to Ikea for new furniture... well... now I want to actually use that new furniture in the not so distant future... so basically I'm packing up everything I own in my room and putting it somewhere else... and that is about as fun as it sounds... lol. I have a lot of stuff... it isn't easy. It will probably not be that hard to put things back because my dad is building the furniture a little at a time... so it'll kind of be like once I have my drawers built- I can put my clothes in there. Once I have my book/dvd shelf built... I can put them in there... so it won't be this cluttered for all that long... but still moving it is a pain in the ass. I'm probably going to throw stuff out and give stuff away... I kind of want to keep a lot of stuff though... idk. The point was I didn't want to get rid of stuff because my sister hasn't gotten rid of anything... and I don't think I should have to... but at the same time...

Throwback Thursday: Friends Season 2

Just finished Season 2 of Friends and I have to say... I liked it better than I thought I would.  I always underestimate season 2 because a few years ago I kept seeing the string of episodes from Season 2 where Joey moved out of the apartment over and over and over again... and they just aren't my favorite episodes. Eddie is a little too weird... Joey's Apartment is a little too ugly... and I think it was just too short a time for that dynamic. In this re-watch of friends I have kind of noticed timelines a little bit more... and I think that's something I'm going to pay attention to for the future... I'm sure there will be some blog posts on that coming soon.  Also aside from Eddie's craziness... we have Phoebe... who is extra weird in the earlier seasons of the show. She's very Phoebe this season... this season we get a lot of Smelly Cat, plus we get to hear some of her other songs... and it's just kind of a little too over the top... but it kind

Scribbles About Food: TGI Fridays Bon Bons in Mexican Hot Chocolate

I feel a little mixed about this... These are good... and like yes I'd eat them again... but there's a lot wrong with them. They could have definitely made these... more appetizing looking than this. Lol.  This is it when you bite in.  First off... they're really tiny and they don't look appetizing at all... lol. They say that 2 is one serving and one is 180 calories... I don't understand what counts as 2 because they're all different sizes... so that didn't make sense to me and I had 3 or 4 maybe? idk. Also the packaging of this is weird... It says tear here on it... but that's not easy to tear... and it's just sort of in this plastic bag... which just seems weird... idk. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind this was. It's hard to keep in the fridge like that. There's no resealable aspect or anything... it's just the worst packaging and I think TGIFridays could improve a lot on their packaging for all their items... but th

Scribbles About TV: Every Netflix Original Series I've seen RANKED!

Netflix Original Series: Ranked!  Okay… this is going to be tough and I’ll probably get back to you on this one… but I have to do it! I’m going to rank everything I’ve watched on Netflix and let you know what to watch- what to avoid… if anything cause I kind of like it all… and what I like the best out of all of these… The only thing I will not be mentioning is Arrested Development because that would be kind of unfair for me to do to the other shows… I have an emotional attachment to Arrested Development… the season that was on Netflix maybe wasn’t as amazing as Unbreakable Kimmy Schmiddt or something… but it still means more to me than any other show… so I’ll do a whole post on Arrested Development… maybe I’ll do a series of posts on that show… but I can’t really include it on this list. I’m too biased lol.  So this will only include shows that I’ve seen at least a full season of so far… so here are the shows!  1) 13 Reasons Why  2) Unbreakable Kimmy Schmiddt  3) Boja

Chart Chat 6.19.17

Lotta new movies on this list this week... not exactly where I thought they would be either... but there's a lot of good stuff out there right now... so let's see what's going on! 10) It Comes at Night- This movie looked bad... I think this will be the last week at the charts... it's probably not bad... but I couldn't get what it was about from the trailer and it was a horror movie that looked scary enough but... meh. 9) Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 -  Ugh I hope this is staying on the charts next week because maybe I'll actually get to see it. I love Guardians and I know by the time I review it it won't really be relevant... but it's a good series... so I bet it'll be good and people will love it. Hopefully it's just as funny as the first! 8) Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie- This looks really funny... I can kind of see why it isn't all that high in the charts! The other day at the mall a little girl saw the movie poster an

Entering The Gates of Purgatory: My First Time at Ikea

Today I did something everyone should do at least once in their life... I went to an Ikea store to get furniture for my bedroom. And I've never been to an Ikea before... I've heard a lot about it, I've seen it in movies... but still... nothing quite prepared me for all the wonders of Ikea. The entrance going in is kind of amazing... you go up these escalators and you know there's just going to be beautifully sleek and functional furniture everywhere... and it will just be the most wonderful place you will ever see. I didn't know that they had rooms everywhere though... and it was a little confusing because not only were there rooms everywhere... but there was also random furniture in places. There was furniture that looked like it didn't belong... everything was crazy. It did look like maybe Lilith from Fraiser lived there and she got Monica from friends to clean everything up... but maybe a hoarder snuck in all the extra furniture and home decor... it was dif

Weekly Wrap Up 6.18.17

Favorites  Friends- Still loving this show… it never really gets old… I’m on Season 3 right now and I’m loving seeing all the Ross and Rachel stuff over again. It’s fun!  Mr. Kate- Mr. Kate is a great Interior design channel that I just found on youtube… she’s really funny and has a great personality. I love her style too… she has a series called “OMG We’re Coming Over” and that’s a lot of fun… she’s just fun. Her husband is the “Mr.” part I guess and she’s Kate… together they do great designs and room transformations. It’s a lot of fun to watch! I just got new furniture for my room and my room will look a lot different, so I’ve been looking for some inspiration.  Pinterest- Kind of for the same reasons I’ve been loving Mr. Kate- I love Pinterest. It’s a lot of fun and that’s where I got most of the ideas for what I wanted for my furniture and stuff!  Orange is The New Black- This is what was my favorite last week… but I didn’t write one of these last week… so I’m tal

Scribbles About TV: Orange Is The New Black Season 5

After the shocking cliffhanger ending of last season's Orange is The New Black... season 5 did not disappoint! The season took place over the corse of 3 days and it focused on all the characters that we already know and love as opposed to adding a ton of new characters... which the show has done in previous seasons. I would say this is definitely the best season because of that. I was excited when I heard that it was over the corse of 3 days... but that also prepared me for a really tragic season. If a show takes place over a longer period of time... usually there's more room for things to go right for our heroes. This room took place over 3 days... so nothing was really going to go right for them. Also this season was very confined. There weren't many flashbacks... and a few of the flashbacks even showed prison or some sort of prison in them as well. The last few episodes even took place largely in very tiny rooms... so that gave an even more confined feeling... it mad

Throwback Thursday: Friends Season 1 (June 2017)

I feel like this is something I'll end up re-reviewing in a Throwback Thursday... more than once... just because I watch Friends all the time... and it just makes me happy so I think if I can watch one episode of Friends a day at least... I'll be a little more chill and happy overall... so I'll have 10 of these... and I might do them again in a year or so... we'll see. Anyway Season 1 is a pretty solid season for the first season of something. There were some dud episodes that I haven't watched as many times as something like "The One Where Chandler Takes a Bath" ... which is my second favorite episode... but it's in my favorite season... so I've watched it quite a bit. It's a good episode! Anyway I think my favorite episodes are towards the end of the season... which I never really noticed before... but I really love The One With The Poker... this is kind of a classic episode that I think is underrated because it's so early! The One Wh

Scribbles About Food: Pop's Garage

So this is a long overdue post! I went to Pops garage a couple of times... once I had Quesadillas and they were delicious... this time I got a Chimichanga and it was Cinco de Mayo (actually Cinco de Quatro, but you know I'm secretly Lucielle Bluth so it's all the same. Lol.) so of corse I got a Margarita! Let's get right into it! I'm going to start off with the Chips and Guac. I don't have a picture of these... but it was really good. It wasn't too spicy, it was flavorful and fresh and it just tasted really yummy. They didn't give a ton and there weren't too many chips with it either... but it was still enough to share. I was in a group with 5 girls and we were all getting big dinners too... so we were hungry, but we needed room for dinner and our desserts... so yeah. It was plenty lol. The chips were good too... they were thick and not too salty. Next up: My Margarita!!! I got the Island Margarita because it sounded coconutty and that's what I w

Scribbles About TV: Easy (Netflix)

So I saw this in my suggested videos to watch after I finished Girlboss and I thought "Ehhh... why not!" So I watched it... and it's an okay show. Not every storyline really got me... I couldn't relate to most of them actually but some were kind of good and relatable and some were a little boring to me... this could be different for everyone... but it's just sort of one of those things... I kind of think this is a hidden gem of Netflix. I'm going to link  this blog post  that criticizes the show for playing into rape culture... I see this bloggers point of view... I think that was maybe my initial response to the particular scenes mentioned in the episode... but I don't know that I really agree about those scenes in particular... Maybe this is something that needs more talking about... but I don't think I'm the person to discuss it here. I don't know where to begin that discussion... but it's a valid point and something I wish the filmma

Chart Chat: 6.12.17

10) Everything, Everything- This has been doing well on the charts for the last 4 weeks. Well... not that well... but it's been holding it's place on the lower end of the charts... it looks a little sad... not critically acclaimed... nothing that I'd really want to see... but it looked good enough and yeah. If you read the book... maybe see this movie this week. 9) Alien: Covenant- This has been on the charts longer than I wanted it to be as well... I believe this had underwhelming numbers at The Box Office... so that was kind of a bummer... but if you're into the Alien franchise... this is the next chapter I guess. 8) Megan Leavey- This looks like a good story... but the movie didn't look all that amazing to me. It does look very unique because I think it's supposed to be a War Movie and a Dog Movie... I don't like watching War Movies all that much. It's important we have them for historic reasons... but they always make me nervous. And with the dog

Scribbles About News- June 10th 2017

So I thought I'd try to bring this little blog series back because... why not! There's a lot of news right now that I'm just not a fan of... I'm watching the CBS Morning News right now... which I love... but they're on extra because of the Comey investigation... and I don't really want to watch that. This also might not just be "News" but it might include some things that I've learned this week or discovered... if that's anything so... we'll see what happens. I will promise not to talk about anything majorly political. If something like Covfefe happens again... I'll probably talk about that... but the point of this post is to get away from all of that... so that's what I'll be doing! 1) Urban Decay Announces Naked Heat Palette- I guess I'll start out with some Beauty news... the Naked Heat Palette from Urban Decay. This is a warm- toned palette... that to me... looks exactly like the Sweet Peach Palette... but I guess it
