What's Up Wednesday: 8.31.16

I woke up today not feeling so great... I feel like a lot of these What's Up Wednesday have some gross part... apparently gross stuff happens on the one day of the week I log my life... hmm. My dog... you know what. Nevermind. We don't need to talk about what happened with my dog... because its also my job to monitor the gross stuff... just note that there were some gross things involving my dog today and that happened. I was TIRED this morning. Partially from not feeling well... maybe also from watching Aladdin late last night... which I won't even have a Throwback Thursday of until January... so thats a thing coming up soon. But I slept in most of the day. I think I had a bad dream and kind of a good dream. The bad dream was exciting though because it was basically the movie Poltergeist... which sounds scary but that movies more "the fun kind of scary" than actually scary. That's a scary movie you could watch as a family I think. The original Poltergeist

Tag Tuesday: The Disney Tag

I figured I'd do  this because why not. I love disney so... yeah. Made sense. Also its like 5:20am and I had a dream that freaked me out a bit... so yeah. A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience. The lanterns at Tangled. Its just so pretty and I love that movie.  An unforgettable experience/moment you've had at the parks. There are a lot... the best that I don't think they do anymore was that Mary Poppins asked to ride the carousel with me and my sister and that was fun. The funniest? Some drunk guy at Epcot thought my dad was someone else and was about to fight him and my grandfather right away was ready to fight him. He apologized later... but of corse we almost get in a fight at Epcot. Poppy would have taken him too! Lol. And also the Millennium desserts they had at the Rose and Crown in Epcot. Poppy LOVED them and ended up eating his own and finishing up the rest of everyone else's too and the waiter said "You'll be running all a

Chart Chat: 8.29.16

Alrighty! Let's see What is up in Hollywood this week!  There are some surprises I think! 10) Ben Hur- This fell quite a bit! Its opening wasn't a great success last week... but I'm a little surprised it is so low on the list this week. I think most people think "Okay, this looks boring and has no plot. If I really wanted to, I should just watch the original. And it's just getting horrible reviews... so I'll save my money and not see this." And yeah... pretty much. That's what I feel about a lot of movies. Action movies like this tend to do pretty well oversees, so I think it'll do fine... but still for the budget of this movie... no. 9)Jason Bourne - This is Jason Bourne's 5th week on the charts... and its maintained a pretty high number on the charts throughout the week. Matt Damon won't go out without a fight! Lol. But yeah. Fun American spy movie... not my favorite, but it could be one day if I'm really feeling like an action mo

Weekly Wrap Up- 8.28.16

Wow, this month is flying by! Anyway, here are my weekly favorites and more! Favorites  Coloring Book Journal- This is a great concept. Its a coloring book with a few pages where you could write stuff down and its just fun. The other day... without even really meaning to, I colored in the book for 2 hours and watched Supernatural and I didn't have my phone anywhere near me on a day when I was getting a lot of text messages... it was nice. It just made me very happy. I really liked it.  Supernatural- I really wanted to finish this last year around this time... didn't get around to it though, I kind of didn't love the 4th season... but now I'm really starting to like it! Its a funny show that I just really like a lot! There are a lot of good twists too. It takes a lot to surprise me on a TV show... and this surprises me a lot. And as I mentioned, I watched this and colored for a couple hours and unplugged from my phone... it was a good 2 hours. Lilo and S

Scribbles About Movies: My Reviews of Movies on BBC's "The 21st Century's 100 Greatest Films"

I always kind of laugh when I see these lists because my Top 100 Movies list would be VERY different... but I'm not going to talk about how Harold and Kumar got snubbed again. Instead I'm just going to review the movies I've seen on this list... there aren't that many, but you'll see why... lol. I'm sorry if you like any of these movies, or if you were involved in them. I'm sure Jim Carey and Kate Winslet are reading this now like "Hey, I'm super offended," but I don't care. Its not anything against them, I just think watching Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless mind is essentially torture. Anyway... on with the list! 96. Finding Nemo- This ranks surprisingly low on this list and its probably wayyy higher on my list. You'll probably notice that my favorite movies on this list are Pixar movies because Pixar Movies are pretty much my favorite. Monster's Inc is my favorite and it is not on the list. Yeah I love this movie, I'll wa

Supernatural Season 4 pt 2

Criss Angel is a Douchebag  I thought this one would be more of a funny episode... but it was kind of serious. It reminded me of Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose almost. It was pretty good, lots of good guest stars... but not what I was expecting. After School Special  Its fun to see the Sam and Dean flashback episodes, so I liked this one... but again I thought it was going to be one of the funnier episodes... and it wasn't! So I feel like there are a lot of serious episodes this season. It was still pretty good though. Not the best episode... but not bad. Sex and Violence  THAT was a good twist! I was excited when I saw that they had sirens in the episode... but I thought there were some really good twists in this one. I thought it was Hoyt from Trueblood that was the siren... but I wasn't sure... and it was just a good twist and a good episode! Death Takes a Holiday  This one was really good too! It was a little weird... but so's the whole show... this season

Throwback Thursday: Rewatching The Office

Going to take a break from my regularly Scheduled Scribbles About Music Throwback to bring you this! I'm re-watching the Office and it might be even better than the first time I watched it, to be honest! I have The Office on DVD... and I have a DVD player... so I don't really know why I decided to watch it on Netflix... but I did and I'm loving it. If you liked The Office watching it the first time around... you might like it even better watching it a second time. Its still exciting to me to see Jim and Pam becoming a couple and Dwight and Angela and I'm almost at the point where Michael and Jan get together... it just didn't get any less exciting even though I already know what happens. I also didn't really appreciate the first season... I had only watched it once, I had maybe watched Diversity Day a second time... but for the most part I was just like "meh, not that interesting, I'll skip and watch season 2",,, but Season 1 of The Office is a

Scribbles About TV: Supernatural Season 4 pt 1

Lazurus Rising  Good start to the season! Ruby is back and is now played by Sam's wife in real life... not at the time, but now they're married. I kind of liked Katie Cassidy better, but I can get used to it. I also like Castiel, he seems like a good character to me... Pretty cool. You can tell the show is changing a little bit, but I still think I'm going to like it. Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester This was pretty cool. I loved Bobby's ghost panic room and I thought it was a cool episode. I like Castiel... I didn't love it, and don't feel as strongly about this episode... but its a cool concept. In The Beginning  This one was great. I loved Dean seeing how his parents got engaged and what happened with Azazel and that his mom was really the hunter and just wanted a good life for Sam and Dean. It also showed a lot about her family, which Dean didn't really know about too much. And of corse how John got the Impala. It was a really good

Chart Chat! 8.22.16

This week is very similar to what it was last week... so I'm not really doing a countdown on it... I'm just gonna say what I think and what I know of the movies... so its kind of regular but kind of different I guess. I'm not sure... but we'll see! 1) Suicide Squad- 3rd week in a row! I think this will end up saving the new DC movies that are coming out... even though I've heard bad reviews on it, its making a lot of money... and maybe that's a good thing about it being released in August. I've said this isn't exactly one I'm rushing to see in theaters, but I think it'll be a fun one to watch at home. Like Watchmen... I know a lot of people didn't like the movie Watchmen... I liked it, but I think its because I watched it at home and not in the theaters. I feel like it'd be a little cheesy in the theaters, but at home I could accept the cheese. 2) Sausage Party- I think I'm going to have to see this when its on TV. I really don

Weekly Wrap Up: 8.21.16

Favorites  See Ya Reel Soon- This is my favorite vlog channel. They do disney Vlogs and they're just really fun to watch. They did a special episode this week announcing that they are expecting! That's exciting! I'm excited to see how their channel changes because they'll have a little one!  Alex and Ani Jewelry- I've been wearing a lot of Alex and Ani Jewelry this week. I went to the store a little while ago. I love it... so I'll keep wearing Alex and Ani stuff... just cause I like it. It goes with anything and its pretty and unique. I know everyone has them... but pairing different symbols is cool and I like it. I love my Lotus necklace and I have some rings from them. It's fun!  Snyders of Hannover Smores Pretzels- I'm a sucker for all things smores... these might be my favorite smores thing. Its just soooo yummy and good. I'm a fan of them! Really really yummy.  Life Scribbles  On Monday I think I got tacos with my mom... and we

Other Favorites 8.20.16

This is going to be kind of random. I'm just going to list some random favorites that I don't mention too often... but I figured I should... so yeah! Jessica Simpson Pajamas  I got this pair of pajamas from Boscovs and its the Jessica Simpson brand... and they are the softest nicest pajamas ever! I really like them! Cartoon Desktop Wallpapers  So I usually use minion Wallpaper for my desktop, but I've been using more Disney ones lately. I used a tangled one recently because its one of my favorite movies and a family friend that just passed away also loved that movie, so it reminded me of her. Then I restarted my computer and the wallpaper went away, so I just googled Disney Wallpaper and picked one out from The Good Dinosaur, which is a really cute movie that I just saw recently. And the image was really pretty, so I thought it would be nice! Cute right? Snapchat  I've gone through Love/Hate relationships with Snapchat... and I haven't been doing it mu

Scribbles About Food: Snyder's of Hannover Sweet n Salty Smores Pretzels

If you know me... I love anything with the word S'mores in it. Whoever invented S'mores is a genius and I love them. So simple. Just graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow... and boom! Amazingness! I thought that this was going to be more of a trail mix, but its just pretzels that have the flavor of smores and that is really really yummy and interesting. Its surprisingly chocolatey... and I don't really know how they got the marshmallow or graham cracker flavor in there... but they did and its awesome. I feel like these would taste really good on top of brownies... which I might try now just to give this a conclusive review... no. Didn't taste that different on the brownie I was using. I didn't think my mom would like them, but she really did too! They're just really nice and they taste really really good. I highly recommend them... I don't know how they got the flavor so spot on, but they did a great job! And it still tastes like pretzel too! Its d

Scribbles About Music: Throwback Thursday Edition Sugar We're Going Down

I've probably heard this song the most recently of any songs on the cd. They still play it on the radio from time to time. This is the first song I ever heard from Fall Out Boy. Again, like the last song... I didn't understand any of the words! This is my first "favorite song" from when I was starting to get into music because I wanted to be cool. It was this and some Gwen Stefani ironically enough... Something terrible happens every time I listen to Gwen Stefani... so I never listen to her anymore. So that is ironic. I've gotta say, I don't think this is as fun as Dance, Dance was. The memories tied to this one are still good... but different maybe? I remember trying to do the lick salute that Pete did in the music video and they played this at their concerts all the time. It still isn't as amazing as I thought it was. Still good... I still like it... but I think I like this second least so far. If I were to rate them from best to worst so far... 1) D

What's Up Wednesday: 8.17.16

Alrighty so let's talk about today. I woke up... pretty late again even though I wanted to wake up extra early. I was up late last night, idk why... but I just wasn't that tired... so I stayed up till like 2 and watched The Office... and so I woke up pretty late. I made myself an iced coffee in my Keurig. I did the Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice. Its hard to make Iced Coffee in my keurig because you need a bigger glass and it doesn't fit underneath my Keurig, so I just brew it regularly then I put it in a large glass with a lot of ice in it and then pour it in there. I put a little extra sugar in it because it needs it when its iced and then I drank it... and it was pretty tasty! I love it! And then for lunch my mom got some Tostitos and we had some leftover taco meat... so we had nachos for lunch and it was delicious!!! Very yummy and we've never made nachos before, so that was good! I went to CVS with my mom, which was fun. They didn't have the Wet n Wild Hi

August 2016: It List

1) Harry Potter and the Cursed Child- I finished this book in a day. Its pretty easy to read because its written in screenplay format... but its really great and its a fun read. Its just really fun to get back into that Harry Potter World again. I think I'm going to finish and reread the series lol. I haven't read the 5th or 6th books... but I'm happy to be back in that world. I just think its really fun! 2) The Dis Unplugged- I've mentioned that I liked this podcast a few times before... but I've really started listening to it a lot and its just fun to listen to. I like it. It makes me feel like I'm at the theme parks, but I'm just at home watching and I like that. Its fun to watch or listen to. They're all really funny and get along well. Its like a talk show with good people, but just about Disney and other Orlando Theme Parks... and surprisingly, there's always a lot of news on that. I think its pretty cool. 3) The Office- I just started re-w

Chart Chat 8.15.16

Here's the Top 10 movies this week! I didn't want to do this every single week... but I'm kind of liking it... so let me know if you want me to keep this up or stop for something else. Most likely if the charts are too similar and nothing really interesting happens, I'll skip a week... but there was something I thought was kind of interesting this week. So yeah! 10) Light's Out- This is its 4th week on the charts and it's made 61.1 million dollars... not to bad! A lot of times horror movies are pretty low budget and do quite well in the box office... so while I thought this wasn't that good the last few weeks... it probably isn't really that bad. And horror movies never advertise a lot... so that's kind of cool. Yes the budget on this movie was $4,900,000 and it made $21,600,000 opening weekend... so that's not bad at all! Horror movie business seems like the business to be in! Lol. 9) 9 Lives- This movie looks terrible... but in a good way.

Weekly Wrap Up: 8.14.16

Favorites  The Office- I decided to re-watch the office this week. I really like that show, I'm doing a throwback thursday on it soon... and its just really good. Great show. Happy to be watching it again!  Tropicana Peach Lemonade Juice- I've still been loving the watermelon juice... but the Peach Lemonade is really addictive too. It tastes more like oranges than peaches... but its really really good! I really recommend it, I think anyone that likes oranges and lemonade would probably really like it. Cotton Candy Grapes- I don't think I need to explain this. Cotton Candy Grapes exist... and they are just as delicious as you would think they would be!  Snippets from the week  -Monday I went out with my mom and some of our friends.  -Tuesday... I went in the pool and read some of Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates... which I don't think is a book made for me... lol.  - Wednesday I didn't do too much. I had a whats up wednesday that was really funny beca

Rory's Story Cubes Story: 8.13.16

I'm going to write a story with Rory's Story Cubes because why not? And I'm doing it word of the day style... and the word of the day is Cosmopolis on dictionary.com so... it will be based around a city I suppose! Alright! So I rolled them first and just so you know... the order is Turtle, Book, L or Scrabble Tile, Parachute, Clock, Foutain, Castle, Arrow Pointing Northwest, and an airplane. (Also used Fish, Beetle,Abacus, magnets It's tough being a viral video celebrity. Sure, David wasn't as famous as many others like the zombie kid that said "I like Turtles" on halloween or the "Charlie bit my finger" kid or even David after dentist... but he was still fairly famous in his own right. A news reporter was talking to him about his parents having quintuplets on the local news... live and he made fart noises, wet his pants and started crying. David loved the celebrity at the time... but he resented it now that he was a grown man and people ar

Scribbles About Places: Red Bank, NJ

So... I figured I'd just talk about this. Red Bank is a really interesting town to wonder around in here at The Jersey Shore... and I figured I'd just talk about it. I was wondering around aimlessly yesterday and it was just fun and different. Red bank is a sort of touristy area, but also kind of a fancy person area... so there are tons of little shops for clothes and stuff like that. There are some restaurants and a lot of bakeries. Its just kind of a cool place. If you're looking for pokemon, there are lots of good places in Red Bank. Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash is a Pokemon Gym. There are lots of Pokestops. There's a bank that's a Pokestop and they have an advertisement that says "Come inside! We have water and air conditioning!" I think its cool when local businesses get involved with the pokemon stuff. Its just more fun and its probably good for them too. I'm a little pokemon'ed out to be honest... so I didn't go to that many
