Stuff That Happened This Week

1) Lots of Celeb Weddings- Ashlee Simpson got married to Diana Ross's son in Diana Ross's house! This is just a few short weeks after her ex husband and father of her child Pete Wentz had a baby with girlfriend Meghan Camper that I somehow forgot to report about. Also Gabrielle Union got married to a football player I believe, Jenny McCarthy married Donnie Wahlberg. And We also got to see pictures of Angelina Jolie's Wedding Dress, which included designs from her kids on the bottom which was adorable. I wonder what Joan Rivers would have said about that! Lol.

2) Lots of Celebrity Babies too- Carrie Underwood is pregnant, Alyssa Milano just had a baby. I think that other people announced their babies or had their babies or something of the like. Ohhh Scarlett Johansen had her baby girl. A lot of celebs are happier than ever I would say. Very nice.

3) Lots of celebrities involved in a nude photo scandal- A lot of female celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Victoria Justice, a lot of the girls on glee, Micheala Maroney and tons of others had their photos hacked into and their private nude pictures leaked onto the internet. This is absolutely wrong. I feel kind of like a hypocrite saying this because when it was Paris Hilton who's photos were leaked I thought "well she shouldn't have naked photos of herself on her phone in the first place." And now that Jennifer Lawrence and people I respect have their photos leaked I think "this is wrong this shouldn't happen." blahhh blahh blahh. And its true I mean lets face it, its hard to think anything that Paris Hilton does isn't just for attention and publicity. But really, it is stealing information from these girls and releasing their private information to the internet. Yeah it's just not right and its terrible. So while a lot of celebrities are happy with their new marriages and babies... there is also this which is sad.

4) Jack The Ripper revealed to be a Polish man named Aaron Kosminski- 125 years after the Jack The Ripper killings happened, we have finally found out who it was. Aaron Kosminski is believed to be the famous killer of prostitutes in London. I'm not sure I buy this. I know there are so many theories as to who it has been already, and I don't know the whole story... but I don't totally see how suddenly 125 years after the fact they can "prove" this. I'm also not completely sure that it was just one person, I'm sure Jack The Ripper inspired many copycat killers as well, so who's to say its just one guy? It's a hard thing to discover suddenly. Kind of cool that they think they found the guy, but I still think it was Johnny Depp when he got high (as in the movie From Hell... which is amazing btw.)

5) Jemaine Clement says that rumors of HBO Reunion are false- This is actually heartbreaking to me. When the news had been released about HBO picking up another season of Flight of The Conchords... I was so excited. All this bad news about the nude photo scandal and Cee Lo Green had been announced and this was all that was right with the world... and it is apparently false. Very sad, but HBO and Jemaine Clement are collaborating on another project... which is a good thing.

I don't really have many other things to say. I have a blog post on Joan Rivers already because that was important for me to post. I had a lot of feelings about Joan Rivers because I was such a fan and I love her. Not much other news could beat that, so I'm going to leave it at these 5 stories.

Byeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
