It List: September 2014

1) Bath and Body Works Fall Scents- I could probably go on forever of all my favorite fall things... but I'm just going to say as a whole, I friggin love bath and body works fall fragrances. Their Pocketbacks are amazing, particularly like the Pumpkin Cupcake, Pumpkin Pecan Waffles and Pumpkin Latte. Their Wallflowers are amazing, I have Spiced Pumpkin cider in right now. And their new fall scents are absolutely some of the best products that they've ever come out with. Comfort, which smells like Pumpkin Latte and Marshmallow is amazing, even my dog sniffs me like crazy when I wear it. Their Apple and Buttered Rum Orchard is amazing too, again my dog sniffs me like crazy when I wear that. And the Plum Moscatto and Almond Harvest scent is amazing too! All by far  3 of my favorite scents ever, let alone for fall! I have the travel sprays and the shower gel and the triple moisture body lotions. All around just good. Also I like the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin one (if you can't tell... I like Pumpkin) but I only really like it in the lotion. I also have 3 fall mini candles... Salted Caramel Corn, Pumpkin Caramel Latte, and Leaves. Ohhh my gosh just awesome all around.

2) Pumpkin flavored everything- This should be no surprise. I have blogged several blogs about my love of pumpkin... but I just love it so much! It is my favorite seasonal thing, besides Egg Nog.
It is just sooo soo good. I love it.

3) The Maze Runner- I have a review on this movie. It was FANTASTIC! I would highly recommend it, especially if you loved the book but couldn't quite picture all the cool things that were happening. It's just sooo soo good.

4) Once Upon A Time- I used to love this show but I kind of stopped watching because I had work on Sunday nights and usually I missed the first half of the show... but now I've been catching up and hopefully I'll be able to get it by this upcoming season. I don't know what to think about the Elsa and Anna plot twist... because I really didn't like Frozen all that much... but I'm excited for it. It should be pretty cool.

5) L'oreal EverCreme Nourishing Leave in Spray- This stuff is amazing. I have very tangly hair and this tamed and got rid of my tangles and it just made my hair so easy to comb through. I like it more than the It's A Ten Miracle Leave in Spray... I just really like it. It also comes in a really big bottle and you don't need a whole lot and it's only 7.99! I'm sold! Lol.

6) The League- So happy this show is back! It's so soo funny and good. It's kind of a dude show about football with guy humor... but I like it so yeah.

7) Secrets by Mary Lambert- I was hoping she would start releasing her own stuff after the success of the Macklemore song. Now that I'm starting to get a little tired of everything else on the radio, I'm happy to see something a little different and funny and I just like it. I'll probably get tired of it like other songs, but I still really like it and it makes me happy.

8) My Big Fat Greek Wedding- This movie has been on HBO A LOT lately! Probably because there's going to be a sequel in the near future. I memorized every line of this movie when I was in 5th grade and it helped me become the Shannon I am today. I would have never started writing if it weren't for this movie and yeah. I probably wouldn't be who I am today without My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Princess Diaries, Friends, and Arrested Development. All very different things but an equally important part of who I am now!

9) How Did This Get Made- This is something that has been on my It List in the past, but now I actually started to watch the movies they're doing and I really like it. I watched LOL with Miley Cyrus and Glitter with Mariah Carey. The Glitter episode just aired today and it was AMAZING! Glitter is a pretty terrible movie, but its super fun to watch and they just did a great job reviewing it.

10) Two Dots- Another Repeat-favorite. I love this game, its the only game I really play consistently on my phone. They just did an update, which makes it slightly less impossible and its a little more fun. I love seeing Apps when they start out and with all the updates how it improves and stuff like that. It's a good game though!

Byeee! I'll do a few TV Reviews on Friday. I wanted to do a Gotham review today, but I think I'll wait to review How To Get Away With Murder and maybe I'll watch Scorpion or something.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
