Woman Crush Wednesday: Women I'd love to see in the new Ghostbusters

So I'm gonna do something a little different this woman crush wednesday and write about all the women I would love to see in this movie. I don't think I'm going to mention the Queens... Amy and Tina (if you need to know a last name... this blog probably isn't for you.) I think thats a given... everyone knows them and loves them and I think that they will have some sort of cameo in the movie at least. Here are the ladies I'd really love to see.

1) Mindy Kaling- Duhhhh Mindy Kaling has to be in it! She mentioned an all female reboot of Ghostbusters in her book. I think she has to be in it. I don't know if I want her as the lead... I think she'd be good in the lead, don't get me wrong... but I'm not really focused on the lead just yet. Ghostbusters didn't really have a lead, all the men in that movie were just as memorable so thats why I'm not focusing on it.

2) Rebel Wilson- I love Rebel Wilson and I know she's kind of already had her breakout in many movies... but I really really want to see her breakout in this movie lol. I'm kind of obsessed with her and I think she would be wonderful.

3) Aubrey Plaza- Another person I love and would love to see her just breakout. I'm excited for her as the voice of Grumpy Cat cause she's perfect. She would bring such a nice grumpy awkwardness to the movie that it really really needs. I almost think she should have a love interest... MIKE CERA! Maybe this is a whole different movie, but I think seeing them together would be cool cause she's awkward and grumpy and he's awkward and awkward. Okay this may be a different movie and I guess there really shouldn't be a love interest but for some reason I think Aubrey Plaza with a love interest would be funny.

4) Kaitlin Olson- Odd choice... but she is quite amazing and she would add such a sharp mean humor. She's more sarcastic and mean whereas Aubrey is more grumpy. It would just be such a good movie if she were in it. She's honestly one of my first picks even though I know its kind of a wildcard.

5) Kristin Wiig- She's sort of another queen... but she has to be in this too right? I think Kristin Wiig is actually a great actress as well as really really funny. She can play anything really. She can do a lot of really goofy characters and I just think she's really one of the best actresses and I really really like her. Yeah she would be awesome in this movie.

6) Melissa McCarthy- She'd be amazing as the Ernie Hudson character. I think she's great as the "crazy" Zach Galifinakis type of character... but I'd like to see her as the boss in this situation.

7) Casey Wilson- How funny is she in Marry Me? She was even funny in Gone Girl! I feel like this movie needs her particular type of humor.

8) June Diane Raphael- Casey Wilson's BFF? Yes Please!

9) Alison Brie- The super innocent act will just really work here. I'd say either her or Ellie Kemper... but I think Alison Brie would work well with Ghostbusters because I think she's also really good with physical humor. Her Santa Baby song in community... I mean that is just pure brilliant. She could bring a lot to the Ghostbusters movie here.

10) Chelsea Peretti- Honestly, The ladies of Brooklyn 99 are all amazing and I could totally see any of them in this movie... but she's a great crazy slacker assistant and I think seeing that in Ghostbusters would be amazing.

Honestly I could easily name 10 more actresses I'd love to see, but I think I already have way too many. I feel like Sandra Bullock, Emma Stone or Rose Byrne might also be in it... but who knows. Sandra's out saving lives and Emma and Rose are both in plays coming up. I'm just excited for this!

So that is it! I hope you guys like this different WCW and... I'm already thinking of like 10 more people so I'm going to end it here... lol

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
