Shannon Goes Viral: WTF Did I Just See Edition.

There is a new meme going around that I like a lot because... its one of those videos that you watch and then you go... "What the f*ck did I just watch!" Which happen to be some of my favorite videos... so here is an array of favorites that will make you wonder what you watch lol.

1) Too Many Cooks- I've watched this twice already and I feel like I'm in an insane asylum. I've had the song stuck in my head all day. I was singing it to my dog... This is just the weirdest thing that exists... but you should watch it because it does exist.

2) Ahhh The Scalene Triangle- I take that back... this is the oddest thing that exists... don't watch this video in public and don't watch it if you're under the age of 13... Ahhh the Scalene Triangle... It escalates quickly... lol.

3) He Man singing What's Goin On- This is why the internet exists. To take He Man and make him a pop star. It is probably one of the best things on the internet. You can watch it for two hours... I've seen this multiple times and it lives up.

4) #alexfromtarget- I'm going to pretend I understand this meme. It's fake, although #alexfromtarget is a real person and his legal name to the best of my knowledge is #alexfromtarget. He just checked someone out like a normal employee. My mom thought he was hot and thats why he went viral... it could be. He has a one- direction type of following I think... but yeah. He's just a guy that works at target. He was quickly replaced by Too Many Cooks.

5) Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley- The internet's anthem. I wish I knew the origin story of this... but somewhere people were like "Check out this awesome video" and then they play this song instead... Its a catchy song... I just wonder when this started. I remember the first time I saw this I was like "what is happening."

6) Trololololo man- I love when something gets taken out of context and then put on the internet years after it was originally supposed to happen. This is a Russian singer that just dances around a 1970s looking set singing Tralalalaala basically. And its very strange. Yeah. Thats all I have to say about that.

7) Schfifty Five- This is a really weird video where a man with the IQ of 55 tries to count alll de way to schfifty five. It is one of the earlier videos I've seen on the internet... quite funny.

8) The Italian Man goes to Malta- Another earlier internet video I saw and loved... well actually my friend just told me about it. An Italian man goes to Malta and people don't understand his accent and they think he's saying dirty things. Its so funny. Just still holds up.

9) The One Semester of Spanish Spanish Love Song- Spanish Mike! This is so funny... again an earlier thing I saw on the internet... and I don't even remember how I found this but it just popped into my head and its pretty great. A guy sings a "love song" just on the few spanish words he actually knows.

10) Leekspin girl- There used to be a whole website dedicated to just watching this animae girl spin a leek and sing a song. The song was catchy and I just watched over and over again... sometimes for hours. Can you tell I was a nerd in high school? Lol.

So that is everything... I may just do a whole new thing called WTF Internet based on this because I like the WTF-ier side of the internet. I wonder what Spanish Mike is up to these days... anyway Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
