This Week In TV- Week of 11/9/14

Sunday

Once Upon a Time- Good episode. I like the Snow Queen I like seeing her connection with Emma and Elsa, although this episode was mostly about Emma. I liked seeing Emma's dark side too... that is interesting and that she's actually a little jealous of her baby brother because he has things that she doesn't. It makes complete sense. I would be upset too.

Brooklyn 99- Eva Longoria guest starred and she had amazing chemistry with Andy Samberg. Her character was funny and driven and powerful and I just really really liked her character. Eva Longoria is amazing, I loved her in Desperate Housewives and I think she's someone I would watch a show for. Like if she were to star in a new tv show, I would make a point of watching it for her.

Monday-

Gotham- Catching up little by little... but this show isn't really wowing me anymore.

Jane The Virgin- Good episode... not my favorite. I feel like the first few weeks were just nonstop excitement and the excitement stopped just a little bit and it isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it was not my favorite this week.

Tuesday

New Girl- This was good. Schmidt and CeeCee and Harold and Kumar... Jess and Nick had a really funny dynamic and Winston as the lovable gullible goofball with Coach trying to Coach him... it was just really funny and brilliant. Good job all around. And that Jess and Nick are the weird ones that is really funny.

The Mindy Project- Always funny! Rhea Pearlman is so great with Mindy and Danny also I just really thought it was funny. These episodes have kind of had the same theme since Danny and Mindy are together, so this was very much like last weeks episode. Danny is annoyed by Mindy's flaws, her lateness, her stealing songs from the internet. And then the tables are turned and then they both teach each other a lesson that makes them a stronger couple. It isn't that I don't like the show... but its a bit of a pattern I noticed.

Wednesday
Modern Family- Solid episode this week. Haley and Manny were super funny. Mitch and Cam were great. I was thoroughly impressed with it. I thought it was just great.

AHS Freakshow- Better than last week... but I'm still confused. I was really mad when they were about to kill Ma petit. I hope the wing fingers guy doesn't die... but he will. And I thought they lost a little momentum with the Michael Chicklis and Angela Basset storyline. I was a little bored with Dandy and the twins... they could have done something more.

Thursday

How To Get Away With Murder- Really good episode. Ummm yeah. I'm starting to think my theories. I think that Sam or the Blonde woman that Analeese fired... I think Lila's boyfriend Griffin is gay, I think Sam is violent and deserved to die. I think Rebecca is manipulating Wes but I don't think she did it... There is are a lot of theories and I guess we'll find out next week!

Winners of the week: I feel like its kind of a four way tie almost. For Drama How To Get Away With Murder and Freakshow are both winners. They were just really really great and I thought they were just really good this week. For Comedies both New Girl and Mindy were super duper funny. Its like an all out draw between the four. There were no clear winners... but these were all really great eps!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
