Scribbles about Songs: The songs on the radio I actually like right now

There are so many songs I'm completely sick of that I prefer listening to the commercials on the radio right now... If I hear Shake it off or All about that bass one more time... ughhh. Okay here they are.

Stay With Me by Sam Smith- I'm a little tired of this song, but honestly I still like it. I like it better than the new song he has out... its just good. Even though he seems like a whiney bitch in the lyrics lol. I like it.

Don't by Ed Sheeran- I really like Ed Sheeran. I love this song and I like sing. These songs I probably hear at least once a day on the radio and I'm still not sick of either one. Ed Sheeran is just really really talented. He can do lots of different music styles and this song in particular is really different and catchy and good.

Best Day of my life by American Authors- This is an older song but its so positive and good. I heard a really good local band called Naked Twister cover this over the weekend and I really like it. This is my moms favorite song on the radio right now I think. I think I'm actually going to get this cd for her for Christmas because I know she'll like it.

Secrets by Mary Lambert- This is probably my favorite of all the songs and I NEVER HEAR IT! I feel like they play Mary Lambert way less than that dumb Taylor Swift song and I think thats unfair. Mary Lambert is new and she is the catchiest and most talented singer on the radio right now I think. I love her and I really think this song is fun and liberating.

Centuries by Fall Out Boy- I haven't actually heard this on the radio yet, but I love Fall Out Boy... One thing I really love about Fall Out Boy is that they still sound the same after all these years and cds. I also love hearing this on commercials for Big Hero 6 and they played it in a football commercial. This is really one of those songs thay gets you pumped and I like it a lot,

Habits (stay high) by Tove Lo- This song! It's so good! I should probably get this cd... maybe I'll ask for it for Christmas... but I think Tove Lo is really talented and this is a song I actually really want to hear and would like other songs by Tove Lo also.

Chandelier by Sia- I don't hear this on the radio quite as much, but I really like it!

Come With Me Now by Kongos- Probably would also like their cd. Don't hear them as much but I really like this song.

Take Me To Church by Hozier- I like this song a lot! I heard it on this one station my dad listens to on Sirius that plays a lot of good songs... but they play them a little too repetitively and once they get played on other stations they stop playing them. Anyway this one was one of my favorites on that station and I recently heard it on the regular radio! Its such a good song! Happy its on regular radio now!

That is all. All the other songs on the radio are TERRIBLE! Maybe I'll share my top least favorite songs on the radio too... in case I don't I'll give a bit of a spoiler... It's Bang Bang.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
