This Week in TV- (week of 10/26/14)

Sunday

Once Upon A Time- Not a bad episode... I really liked the end. I feel like because of the Frozen storyline Once has gotten a bit more childish... it seems very teenage now. Also... they had this whole big thing last week about Rumplestilskin and the wizard and Mickey Mouse and this week they didn't do anything with that... I feel like thats kind of a huge missed opportunity! They keep doing that this season too... getting me all excited for one story and then leaving that storyline alone for the next few weeks and going onto something entirely different. Also not enough Hook... wtf?

The Affair- I lost some interest in episode 2... not gonna lie. I still haven't watched it yet. I will catch up before next week, but its just hard to keep up with.

Bobs Burgers- Seriously?????? What the hell happened to this show. Is it because of baseball or football or something? Why didn't they just wait for the season premier if they aren't going to show another episode for the next 3 or 4 weeks. Ughhhh! I've never watched this episode on the air before, so I don't really know how it works, but this is frustrating!

Monday-

Gotham- Clever villain. I liked this. Basically Gotham isn't so much about Batman or Gotham City, its more of a cop show with very comic book like villains, at least as of right now. I've been pretty interested in that. I do like knowing about the actual batman characters too!

Jane The Virgin- This is a great show. I like the chemistry between Jane and Raphael. I like the backhandedness of Petra... AND SHE GETS CAUGHT OMG! Sorry, I'm watching it now and its exciting.

Tuesday

Forever- Still not caught up!

Marry Me- Cute episode! I thought it was really clever, I love seeing the Halloween episodes of the first season because usually that is the first of many holiday episodes, which are always fun! This was no exception, I really thought it was good!

Wednesday

The Middle- Funny. I liked the part where Axl was talking to Shakespeare, but he didn't know who it was.

Modern Family- This ep was pretty good. I like Modern Family's holiday eps... they don't always have them though. This year was pretty good.

AHS Freakshow- I was shocked that I actually felt really emotional about Twisty's story. I could have cried, and I was happy Edward Mouldrake took him instead of Elsa. I also love Edward Mouldrake. He is probably one of my favorite AHS characters ever and yeah. I didn't like it as much as last weeks episode, but I did really like it.

Thursday

How To Get Away With Murder- I liked this episode. The pieces are coming together quite nicely. I liked that we saw more of Asher, I think they're going to frame him for Sam's murder and... yeah. I liked it overall.

The Big Bang Theory- Ehhhh. I didn't like this episode at all really. I thought they should have focused at least a little more on the Amy and Bernadette storyline... I really hated that they just ended the episode without reaching a conclusion really... which is a pet peeve I have about the show as a whole. Especially when they are raising a valuable issue that women shouldn't be sexualized the way that they are and that they should be treated with just as much respect as men... meanwhile they're sexualizing Penny while they do it... ohhh boy. This was just creepy, unbelievable and overall just avoided an interesting topic. That is the big loser for the week.

So the drama winner for the week is.... Freakshow. Its won the past few weeks, I know but damn its good! Twisty is a serial killer, we're scared of him, we don't like him because we've watched him brutally murder people and he's keeping the little boy and that girl captive! And yet my mind was totally changed after hearing why he was the way he was... he didn't even really know what he was doing, it was so sad. It broke my heart and then I was like "Awww he's adorable" and then they killed him. Lol. But thats the type of feels I got from this episode and thats what is so great about it as a whole.

Comedy was pretty weak this week... not going to lie. I'm going to count Jane The Virgin as comedy and say that was my favorite for the week because really it probably was. Marry Me was good too though... I guess Marry Me and Jane The Virgin definitely wins something because it was good this week... but I can't decide if its comedy or drama. Lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
