Thankful Thursday 10 Silly Things To Be Thankful For...

Soooo I want to do this instead of a Throwback Thursday... but I don't want to get all mushy on what I'm Thankful for... so I'm just picking out the silliest things that make me ridiculously happy every day.

1) I'm happy no one quite gets why Blake Shelton is The Sexiest Man Alive this year- This was just a really funny thing that everyone in the world was like "Him? Does he have a good publicist or something?" because... I mean it could have been Idris Elba... It could have been Dwayne The Rock Johnson but no... Blake Shelton.

2) The Oprah Weight Watchers Commercials- Not a day goes by when I'm not thankful for Oprah's announcement that she loves bread. And not a day ever will.

3) The Thought of Jim Belushi getting knighted- Can you imagine? Sir Jim Belushi.

4) The Chrystler Commercials with Cookie Monster and Elmo- These make me super happy... I love cookie monster.

5) The Fact that they are actual making Thanksgiving Pants- This reminds me of Joey's Thanksgiving Eating Pants on Friends.

6) Costco- Seriously... just Costco. They have really soft blankets. I don't always get samples there but I like that they exist. If you can't find it at Costco... is it really worth it?

7) Siri when you say "I See a Little Silouetto of a Man"- Just do it... In a quiet place. Not like in the library... that'd be funny... but like by yourself or with family or something.

8) The Geico Commercial with the Sloths playing Pictionary- This is funny. I just like it a lot.

9) This Lights, Camera Christmas Special... which is kind of boring- So far this ABC 2020 Christmas Special is about as interesting as you'd think it'd be. There was apparently a much darker original script to Elf... ugh. So I'm thankful for it because... a lot of people in Christmas movies are kind of bad people. I don't know who this special was made for... it's pretty bad.

10) I have nothing else to say- I'm just kind of done with this blog so I'm thankful for this.

Byeee! Happy Thanksgiving!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...
