Hump Day Update: 11/15/17

What I'm Watching

Right now the Wednesday Night Comedies on ABC. I'm excited because they weren't on last week and now they're back! And that's exciting!

Last night was the last American Horror Story Cult... and I'm okay with how it ended... it's not my favorite ending ever... or maybe it is... I don't know. I think I liked how Murder House ended and Hotel ended pretty good... But this was a powerful ending and it felt a little personal... but yeah. I'm happy it's over because Winter died... so yeah. I didn't like how it started because I am sooo not interested about men in prison... ehhh.

I watched one episode of This is Us... I'm not in love with this season. It isn't bad... just not my favorite after last year's amazing season. But you know... it's still a show.

And I watched some Kevin Saves The World... that show is really good. I like it a lot. It's cute.

News

I was a fan of Louie CK but I'm not anymore... so there's that. I hate the news a lot lately... but I'm proud of the women and men that are speaking out against this and not standing for being treated as less than human.

Food and Drinks

This is kind of a secret... they're hard to get... but the Holiday sandwiches from Starbucks are really good... You could recreate this with your own leftovers... it's pretty much just Turkey, Stuffing, Cranberries and a little bit of gravy on Ciabotta bread... it's really good. I've had it for lunch every day this week pretty much.

Favorites

I've been really liking Shane Dawson, Ryland Adams and Garrett Watts on youtube... they're all really funny. Garrett Watts makes me laugh so so much... he's so funny.

I got a Deathly Hallows Bracelet from Alex and Ani and I love it.

I got some new stuff from Lularoe... I got a lynaee and a pair of leggings and I love them.

The Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy line... I think I bought them all when they went on sale this week... it's good stuff!

Other Stuff

My niece has been sooo funny lately. She's all smiles and laughs.Soooo soo cute.

I might be in the habit of getting up early now.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
