12 Things (11.12.17)

1) There wasn't a lot of good Pop Culture News this week... so I thought I would do another one of these types of posts because I still wanted to post something.

2) I got a bunch of Aromatherapy Lotions during the Bath and Body Works Lotion Sale... I think last year it was only the Signature Collection lotions- but this year it included the Aromatherapy and the Triple Moisture Body Cream... so I thought that was kind of exciting- even thought it was 3.95 instead of the $3 it usually is... I'm not mad about it lol.

3) I thought today was supposed to be a little chillier than it was yesterday... but I didn't think it was. Wind wasn't as strong... so yeah.

4) Since it's November 12th, I thought I'd do 12 things instead of 10... so that's why I have 12 things.

5) I'm watching The Good Place right now... I was skeptical about this season... but I think it's the best season yet. It reminds me a little of Parks and Rec and Community combined... it's just pretty brilliant.

6) Now I put on This is Us... I don't think I saw the second episode of the season... but it's not on our DVR... so I guess I'm not going to watch it.

7) I'm wearing a striped shirt with polka dotted leggings... so that's a thing.

8) I wanted to do an Outfit Of The Day with this... I haven't yet... but maybe I should. I look cute lol.

9) I have socks on with lace that peeks out over the boot... I really like how that looks!

10) I have the Comfort scent from the Aromatherapy collection on now... it's Vanilla and Patchulli and it's the lotion like I talked about... I like the smell. I wasn't going to get it... but I liked the smell too much lol.

11) Sylvester Stallone is on This Is Us... I feel like I shouldn't watch this because this will add a new layer to my Sylvester Stallone impression... and I like it as is. Lol.

12) My desk is magnetic and that is really really exciting to me!

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
