How To-sday: How To Dog Sit

I thought I would bring How To-sday Back... but again... I'd like to do it in a more personal way and talk about what I actually did this week that's a little different than what I usually do and teach you how to do that... or maybe something that isn't new... but idk maybe a little different... I already have an idea for next week in fact! This might be satirical... so keep that in mind.

Anyway... so yeah dogsitting! My friend was going away for the weekend while she was dogsitting- so I get to watch the cute puppy! I miss my own puppy but I love having puppies around! Which brings me to #1!

1) Love Dogs!
Seriously... if you don't love dogs what kind of sick monster are you? Especially if you clicked a video saying how to dog sit... just make sure to actually love dogs at all times... in any situation. It will make you feel better about things like the patriarchy being terrible and Casey Affleck winning the Oscar after he's been a known abuser of women... okay still upsetting... but how mad can I be at the world when there's a cute little pup next to me and she's being so sweet!

2) Go Outside Responsibly
This is a big one. Make sure the dog is wearing everything it needs to wear... make sure you have keys and everything... a phone is good just in case... and poop bags. Gotta have the poop bags! If you walk by a park they might provide bags... but you know. Be a good neighbor!

3) Be Patient!
Just be patient with the walks too... sometimes dogs can be too fast... sometimes they're really slow. I watched a dog once for my neighbor... and I was in 6th grade and the dog was a big puppy...and it was my first time walking her... so I didn't know and she just kind of started running and I ran with her. I didn't have a cell phone at the time- so I couldn't tell them where I was and they were worried. I only knew where I was because I was near the house that made freshly popped warm popcorn for halloween... they had a distinctive sign on their house that I thought was for Halloween... and as it turns out- it was not!

So yeah- if you are having a dogsitter come over... maybe do a trial run first if you can. That made it easy for me today.

4) If you're going to someone else's house... pack food!
Since I was staying at my friends house... I needed to make sure to feed myself. I didn't really want to go out or order anything... so I brought some chili that my mom made... I got one of those Thanksgiving Sandwiches from Starbucks... some snacks, a Starbucks Via thing... some milk... just some good little snacky things. Really good!

5) Pay Attention to where you're going!

How do you not get lost? Pay attention to where you're going! That's just good advice!

6) Have Fun... Be Yourself
This is just life advice in general. Sooo I thought I'd put that in here too lol.

Byeee!

It List: May 2017

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... I think they did a really great job and I was so impressed with it... I'll have to watch the first season over again and do a Throwback Thursday on that sometime soon... but until then... season 2 was great! 2) Girl Boss- I finally got around to watching Girl Boss this month too... and I loved that show! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not... then I just couldn't stop watching it and I finished it in 2 days... which I guess is when I finished all the Netflix shows I'm talking about... but still. Girlboss was definitely really good... and I feel like I could watch this one over and over again too. 3) Unbrea...

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
