Weekly Wrap Up- 7.24.16

Favorites

Fins-I figured I'd start out with a local favorite this week... because why not! This is a really good taco place in the Jersey Shore with really good fish tacos particularly. Despite Jersey having good fish places and good taco places... there aren't a lot of great fish taco places... but this one is pretty awesome! The fish is really fresh and the flavors are very flavorful together. I had a taco salad this week with seaweed and coconut sesame fish... it was really good! They have more than seafood and more than tacos too... but anything coconut sesame they have is awesome and I'd highly recommend it!

The Year of Yes By Shonda Rhimes- I read this book for a book club this week, I chose the book and I really liked it a lot! Its one of my favorite memoirs that I've read... and I've read a lot of them! Especially recently when everyone has a book out... this is great! Its a good uplifting book that I think you can enjoy whether you watch her shows or not... its good!

Kingdoms- This is a game I downloaded because I've been into app games more with the pokemon go app. When I'm not "Go" ing I can sit down with this... which I do a lot. Basically its like Roller Coaster Tycoon, but with a Disney Parks theme... so that's pretty cool!

Dis Unplugged- I have a lot of favorites this week! I mentioned this podcast/ youtube channel during my "Disney vloggers" post and this has been what I've been watching the most this week. And listening to the most. They have such long episodes that its just easy to have on while doing other things... and they're pretty funny too.

Pink Chiffon from Bath and Body Works- I have to give this an honorable mention because its the
only spray I used this week... and it was really good. I had fun using it. I did a blog about that and I'll

be doing some more blogs about fragrance mists and how I'm using them.

Life Scribbles
- Didn't do much Monday. I went out to lunch with my mom and then we got dinner later with the family... and that was good!
- Tuesday we also went out to lunch at Fins... and that was good!
-Wednesday I was in a good mood. I think I went to starbucks that day... you can read it in my What's Up Wednesday.
-Thursday we went out to dinner again.
-Friday I saw Finding Dory, which was good. I have a review of that up.
-Saturday I tried Ecto Cooler which was really yummy!
News
Melania Trumps speech at the Republican National Convention was taken nearly word for word from
a Michelle Obama Speech. That has been a hilarious meme going around.

Trump announced his vice presidential candidate and CBS News described him as a "Solid Number 2." ... Could not have phrased that any worse... lol.

There is a new service that will set you up with Pokemon Go dates where you can go to pokestops and pokemon gyms... so thats funny.

Also don't be an idiot with your pokemon go. If you have a kid, monitor them so that they don't get hurt. If you're an adult... watch where you're going. Don't pokemon yourself off a cliff! Use common sense... and just be safe.

Jeffree Star and Kat Von D Ended their friendship publically... both made videos on why they were

de-friending the other and stuff like that... I don't know. I like Kat Von D, I don't think she's lying and
I don't think Jeffree is lying either... I don't like Jeffree for reasons other than ones mentioned in their videos... but if he has a makeup product I really want... I'm going to get it.

Prince George turned the big 3. He's adorable... can't get over his cuteness!

And Hillary Clinton also announced her Vice President... So google that because I'm not promoting politics on here. Lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
