Scribbles About Food: Starbucks Caramel Expresso Granita

So this is kind of a weird thing to review. The first sip I was like "Weird... this is gross I don't like it." But I mixed it around a little bit and I was like "This is amazing. I love it! Its delicious and so different." So... there you go lol.

Its like shaved ice in a coffee... so its a weird sort of texture and its like you're getting something a little different with every sip. It was pretty yummy when it was mixed a little bit. I think I needed mine mixed a little because it wasn't all that sweet... but when it was mixed around... it was good.

So I don't know if these are something you can only get at 3pm or after... or if you could ask for it during the day and see if you get it. I don't typically get Starbucks after 3pm... so it might take a while for me to get this again or to get another flavor... but I really like it. Its also good if you don't want caffeine or if you don't want caffeine after 3pm... they have fruit flavored ones too that might be a little more normal tasting (since shaved iced is typically more fruity flavors) I think those would be good too though...

So yeah! That's it! Did you guys check these out yet? Or the Parfaits which also look really yummy... but I think its just stale scones with some syrup on it... lol! But yeah!

Can't believe it's the last day of May... this was a great time for TV... so let's get right into it! 1) Master of None- The second season of this show was really really great! I liked the first season... but this season was just wayyy better to me for some reason... I loved that they had episodes about Italy and about New York... Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...
