Fitness Friday: What I've been doing w/o gym membership

So I think I posted about this last year... Maybe not on this blog... But I figured I'd just share some things I've been doing and how I do them.

So my friend told me about this app called Couch to 5k and it tells you how to run for a half hour and gradually it gets harder to do and it's just an easy way if you want to start running, that helps. Lately I've been doing little 30 minute workouts before, and I've done workouts after running too... But I prefer before cause I feel like I can do a more full workout them.

And I just do easy excersises for a small space. I use my sisters bedroom cause she lives with her husband now. But it's small. So I do crunches, I do the running app in there too because there's been a heatwave and I didn't really want to go outside. Stacey has some weights that she left here and I used them too. I just do things that are easy to do in a tiny place. It's nothing too special  if you look up "small space workouts" on Pinterest, you can find some. It's good.

I also made a little fitness journal and I write down my food and my little workout and how I'm feeling that day and my step count and the water I drank that day... And that's fun to do. I feel like I'm doing a better job with stuff now that I write it down and it feels like a congratulations for myself.

I feel like this isn't my best blog... Lol. But I like these things and I'll try to explain them better soon.

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
