Top 10 Movies I'd Like To See Re-Done

So with Ghostbusters being released and the backlash of it all... I thought I'd just talk about the top 10 movies I think can make it with remakes. I'm fine with remakes... its fun to see how different directors interpret things and even seeing things in different genres, like Dark Shadows or 21 Jump Street, which were made as great comedies... and yeah. So these are movies and TV Shows I think could be redone somehow. It might not all be as a movie... but they can be re-done somehow. And I'll count these down so its kind of an order from least favorite to favorite.

10) Pushing Daisies- This is something that I think was done very well... but I don't think a TV show is the best representation of it. There are talks of a musical, or maybe a movie about it... I think those are good... but I don't know if that would be the best way of doing it. I want to see it as like a comic book or a series of books... there's an audience for it and I think it would be fun to get lovers of Comic Books or Books to enjoy this also. Its just a good story, if you've never seen it... check it out. It just deserves some more attention... and I think its about time it gets something.

9) The Cat in the Hat- This is risky because the Cat in the Hat movie came out and it was terrible. Its one of those movies that I don't see how it got made. People put it out and were like "yeah this is a good idea" and it was creepy and the humor was a little weird... but the most recent Dr. Seuss movies have been Cartoons... and this would probably be fine as a cartoon. I think it would be a little hard to get this right because I feel like it would be hard to get The Cat in the Hat to actually be likable... but it can be done... I think its probably about time.

8) Aladdin- With all the live action movies Disney has been doing lately... I think they should do a live action Aladdin. I think most of the live actions movies happening are not musicals... and I think it would be better if they were musicals. I've mentioned I'm not super into the Live Action Movie Disney movie reboots... just cause I prefer the cartoons. I think cartoons are more fun... but I think this could be done.

7) Tangled- Of all the animated movie sequels,I would like to see Tangled. The first one was sooo good. I don't think there needs to be a second one. I know there's a TV show now and they did Tangled Ever After... But I wouldn't mind another Tangled. There are 5 Ice Age movies... There should be another Tangled.

6) Tinkerbell- Along the lines of the live action reboots I've mentioned, I'd like a Peter Pan movie themed around Tinkerbell. Kind of like Maleficent... But with Tinkerbell. I feel like it would be fun to link Tinkerbell to all the Disney movies and do something about that.

5) Tower Of Terror-This is a weird one on the list. There was a Disney Channel movie that got The Tower of Terror down pat... It was scary but still fun for kids to watch. I had it recorded and I must have gotten rid of it and that is one of my biggest regrets because it's amazing. I know Disny kind of gave up on the attraction-based movies because most of them weren't successful... But this was a great Disney channel movie I can't find anywhere and I think it could be redone.

4) The Haunted Mansion- This movie could be done sooo much better. It isn't the worst movie in the world... But it's not funny, the jokes are kind of not there and just don't go with the movie and they could do so much better and have it more true to the ride. I think Eddie Murphy was a good choice... But even as an animated movie... Or maybe a live-action movie or even a tv show animated or not... This would just be a good one!

3) How The Grinch Stole Christmas- This goes along with the Cat in The Hat... although I liked the Jim Carey movie... I think it could be done as a Cartoon and it would be amazing. As much as I love The Grinch I don't really feel like I have to see it every Christmas because 1) Its very long 2) some of the humor is a little crude... and I think they could make it a good G-rated cartoon for Christmas. 3) It is a little weird to see it live action. I don't think it looked terrible the way that The Cat in The Hat did... I think there are some parts that are beautiful... but I feel like I need a break from time to time. And an updated cartoon I think would be awesome. Maybe in the next 5 years. I love the original cartoon... but a feature length cartoon... its good!

2) The Addams Family- One of my favorite movies is Addams Family Values and I know they're thinking of doing a cartoon reboot... But this is something I'd like to do... So it's on the list for that reason. I would like to see just about any version of this. I know they're looking to do an animated reboot, but I think another live-action movie would be fun to see.

1) Death Becomes Her- This is the number 1 movie I would want to do a reboot of! This movie is great and it's wacky... But I feel like it could be redone somehow. Better effects, maybe with stars from today. Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn and Bruce Willis were all so young and new in this movie, it would be interesting to see it redone!

Scribbles about TV: Jane The Virgin Review!

This I think is a surprise hit, so of corse I needed to watch it for myself to see! It's been getting a lot of critical buzz because it has been reviewed as "one of the best pilots of the season" and I also have been hearing a few critics saying that they don't think it will last because the word "virgin" is in the title... which is stupid. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin and if a show is good, its good and people should watch it... plus this did bring pretty high ratings for The CW so the critics that said that can suck it! Lol. Overall I really liked this show. One thing thats been bothering me a lot about the new Fall shows is that the characters aren't interesting enough. Especially the female characters. I thought that this showed a lot of really strong female characters that were interesting. This had a pretty big cast with A LOT of stuff going on for a pilot and most of the characters were female. That is a powerful thing to see on TV...

Top 10 Dating Tips/ Suggestions

So I've been in a relationship for about 2 and a half years... but before that I was single... for a very long time. And I was on dating apps for about a year or so before that... so here's what I learned from those apps. If you want more specific relationship advice I have from being in a relationship... that one might be a little harder but I guess I could do a blog on that too? Idk... I'm not an expert but I think I have some good tips.  Find an App That Works For You  I feel like not all apps work for everyone. I started on Bumble- and I like the app. I love the idea of girls taking the first move- but... I HATE making the first move apparently. So I would just match with a bunch of guys... and never really knew what to talk about. Plus I like having A LOT of info in my bio and Bumble just doesn't give enough space for me. I only went out with 1 guy from Bumble I think and it was bad.  So after that I tried Coffee Meets Bagel... which is terrible. Maybe depending on...

Scribbles About TV: Jane The Virgin Finale Review (SPOILERS)

So.... Can we talk about all the twists because there were a lot! I didn't even see all of them coming! Alrighty we start out in typical Jane The Virgin Mode with Jane's choice between Raphael and Michael... I'd be okay with either but I think I'm team Michael. Jane has a weird moment with Raphael and thinks she's better off without him and just having him be the father of her child. She's also starting to have some feelings for Michael again. Then she almost has the baby on the bus and some woman helps her and gets the bus driver to take her to the hospital. Rogellio and Xo are in Vegas and they get drunk and can't remember what happens, but they make it just in time to see Jane deliver a baby boy. I knew it would be a boy! Lets pause on that a little and go to Michael and his ex partner/friend with benefits who comes back says she has a lead on Sin Rostro, gives him an address where the plastic surgeon is and by the time Michael gets there, he's de...
