5) The Purge:Election Year- This looks good and scary. I always want to see the purge movies but A) no one I know likes horror movies B) Horror movies also aren't that good to see in my movie theater. People are loud and obnoxious in horror movies... and sometimes like in the Paranormal Activity movies its kind of funny... but with this one I think I'd rather not pay for an expensive ticket and then have people being obnoxious in the movie... and I never end up watching these on TV either... lol. I should start. This one looks particularly scary and interesting... but yeah. Probably won't end up seeing it.

4) Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates- I want to see this movie... lol. I actually have the book I want to read first which means I probably won't end up seeing this... but it looks good!

3) Finding Dory- I need to see this and I still haven't seen this!!! I love Finding Nemo... its probably one of my top favorite movies ever and I love the concept of this! So cute and just different and I like it a lot!

2) The Legend of Tarzan - I've heard this was really really bad... I kind of wanted to see it anyway because its not like it looks great.. but I think Sandy Kenyon mentioned that Tarzan in the movie wasn't that good of a guy even though he was the hero... and idk if I want to see that. I also didn't even like the Disney Tarzan all that much... so maybe just not my thing. Maybe if its on TV I'll skip the beginning and just watch the actiony parts and the romance parts with Tarzan and Jane... lol.

1) The Secret Life of Pets- I'm so happy this is Number 1! That is awesome! I love illumination entertainment, I love the minions and I'm super happy about that. That being said... My sister and Brother in Law saw this this weekend and they said it was too long and that all the funny parts were in the commercials... so that upsets me a little. But I still kind of want to see it! So yeah. Good for the pets for being #1...maybe not as good for grown ups but still! Lol.

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
