New Year's Resolutions?

So... I don't really love making New Year's Resolutions... but I'm out of blog ideas... so let's go with this! So my number 1 resolution: Become a Jedi. I think I can do it... I think I've gotten pretty close before... so yeah! I'm probably going to be a Jedi next year. I would still like to keep up with this blog... I might not blog every single day though... and I'm okay with that. I want to get on here when I have a story to tell- or when I have something on my mind... I kind of like the Weekly Update so I may keep up with that... I like doing movie and book reviews- so I'd like to have more of those up... and yeah. I did a How To-sday recently... so I like that! I also want to watch more movies... I kind of want to watch one older movie that I've never seen before a week... or a month. There are just a lot of movies I always say "ahhh I want to see it." and I never do. Maybe I'll try listening to more music and watching some t

Weekly Update 12/28/17

I forgot to post this yesterday... so how about this instead of a personal blog? I feel like my personal blogs aren't really going anywhere... lol. What I'm Watching Everything is pretty much a repeat this week... but I did watch Safiya Nygaard on youtube a lot... I just love her channel. I think she has some really creative and good quality videos and I'm really a fan of hers! I've been watching sooo many videos of hers it's great! News  So I wanted to look up what news happened this week... and I found a bunch of misleading news articles saying "Meghan Markle's sister is NOT happy with Prince Harry" or "Samantha Markle Slams Prince Harry." When really I don't think anyone was slamming anyone. Prince Harry described Meghan Markle being in the royal family as "a family she's never had." and Markle's half sister Samantha responded saying "Actually she's from a big family that's never been anything but

Missed the movie... but had some fun shopping.

Ugh I keep meaning to write first thing in the morning... and I just haven't been waking up that early. Normally I'm up pretty early... but I've been cleaning up my room late at night... and I was just kind of exhausted today... so that didn't happen. Another thing that didn't happen: Going to see Coco! My mom and I tried to get there early to see the 2:30 showing of Coco- but it was sold out when we went there! So we went shopping again... But to go shopping... we had to pass the Food Court... not usually a bad thing- but it smelled TERRIBLE. I don't know what it could have been... it was near a Bananas and a Green Leaf- which sometimes smell terrible... and there were a couple of new places in that food court... I'm not eating there again though because it just smelled HORRIBLE! We did get some Christmas sale deals at Hallmark, Disney Store and I got some $3 Wallflowers from Bath and Body Works. I also got some things from Forever 21... I usually kin

Ahhh I didn't do day 12 of Blogmas!

I'm sorry about that! I think I'm going to change my blog a little bit and make it a little more scribbles about life-y and actually make time to write about my life... sometime during the day. I think Monday's will still be more of a "Story Time" thing for the most part... I still want to do Chart Chats and reviews...I may do some reviews on my youtube channel... but that can be kind of difficult because in my Star Wars video people were spamming my comments and I didn't like that... so yeah. Anyway I thought I would still talk a little bit about my Christmas. It was really good, it was my first Christmas like this... As far as I can remember- I've always stayed at my house for Christmas- this year we went to my sister's house... which was really nice. I got to see my niece who was a little sick, but she still had fun playing and opening up some presents. The dinner was delicious... we had turkey and I actually tried brussel sprouts and they were

Chart Chat 12/24/17

10) Lady Bird- Still want to see this movie. It just looks funny and a fun movie! I'm happy it's still on the charts- I think there will be some Oscar nominations for this... I think it looks like a great movie and it has a lot of great critical reviews... so I'm happy for this one! 9) Murder on The Orient Express- This one looks really good too! Great cast... really want to see it- hopefully I will get a chance too... it just looks so great! 8) The Disaster Artist- This looks great too! And I want to see it! I haven't seen all of The Room... It is a pretty fantastic terrible movie- it's just kind of hard to sit and watch. It starts out with like 30 very awkward sex scenes. I feel like I want to see it in theaters- I know it kind of has a Rocky Horror quality to it now. I think it's available on Youtube also... but they say you should watch The Room before seeing this movie. I think James Franco is a great actor and to see him playing a bad actor sounds like

Blogmas Day 11 and a Half: The Best Holiday TV Episodes

I thought I would do this a little differently just because A) It's 10:30 I haven't posted a blog here and I need to still. B) I have other things to do... C) Really I just want to do an 11 and a half so that I can save Day 12 for Christmas! Lol... Sooooo yeah... I'm just going to do this as a list... no real order.  1) The Life in Pieces 12 Shorts of Christmas- This was on the other night and it's so funny... I already think it's a holiday classic! One of my favorite things I saw this Christmas... they have 12 shorts instead of the usual 4... it was just really funny and well done.  2) The Community Christmas Episodes- Obviously I love this... I just did a blog post on all the Community Christmas episodes... these are a must watch!  3) Festivus- This Seinfeld episode is one of the best ever! I love it!  4) The Friends Christmas Episodes- If you watch these all together then you'll notice a dark backstory about Phoebe... it's worth checking ou

Blogmas Day 11-Throwback Thursday: Community Christmas Episodes Season 1-3

Sooo one of my favorite tv shows ever is Community. And some of my favorite episodes are these Christmas episodes! So I thought I would do a little Throwback Thursday with these episodes now that I actually have the DVD box set of every season... so I might do a Throwback Thursday of each season soon... stay tuned if you like Community... but I'm really excited to talk about these Christmas episodes! Season 1 Comparative Religion  One of the things I should say about Community is that in each season they have a class that they're all in a study group for... and the study group kind of serves as a theme for the season. The first season is Spanish to show that being a Community is kind of a foreign concept to the study group. This is a great example of how they really perfected that concept. Everyone in the study group has a different religion, and Shirley- the religious Christian of the Study Group is trying to throw a Christmas Party and get everyone into the true meaning

Hump Day Update 12/20/17

What I'm Watching  Every Christmas Special!!! I talked about all the christmas episodes last week... Life in Pieces is still on this week and it was funny last week. Prep and Landing Naughty vs. Nice is on next and I like that a lot... so I might watch that. I did watch The Santa Clause... but I already posted my reactions to that... so I'll watch the other Santa Clause Movies and The Grinch soon. I still haven't watched my favorites which are Elf and Christmas Vacation yet... ugh. I saw A Christmas Story Live... didn't see all of it- but I liked what I saw... and yeah! That's pretty great! News  Last week I reported on Mario Batali's sexual harassment allegations... this week we got an apology with a Pizza Dough Cinnamon Roll Recipe... just so Mario could show how sincere and serious he was about it. Tarana Burke, founder of the Me Too Campaign will push the button to drop the ball on New Year's Eve in Times Square. I think this is a really great ho

Blogmas Day 10: I Gave The Santa Clause a Fair Chance... and...

So I never really liked the movie The Santa Clause with Tim Allen- I love The Santa Clause 2... but The Santa Clause and The Santa Clause 3 just weren't my thing. And I think the reason I never liked The Santa Clause is that I couldn't relate to it and I just kind of thought it was sad. It was sad that Santa died, it was sad that Tim Allen and his wife were divorced and overall... I just thought the movie was a little dark. But that being said... a lot of people get divorced, a lot of divorces aren't that nice when children are involved and... even though it's the holidays- bad things still happen... and that doesn't mean Christmas has to be dark and gloomy... I appreciate that about this movie... that isn't really why I liked it though... but it's a start. The reason The Santa Clause 2 is my favorite is because I love how they show The North Pole in that movie... I just like that North Pole and even though I was maybe a little older when The Santa Claus

Blogmas Day 9: Christmas Things in NJ

Sooo I thought I would just talk a little about what NJ has to offer for the holidays since I already mentioned New York and Disney. First off if you're from the Jersey Shore and you don't want to go to New York for their holiday markets- Asbury Park has a holiday bazaar! I think it's open every weekend around Christmas... not 100% sure about that- but they did have it open the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was really nice. They had a photo booth, they had some nice jewelry and some bowties you could get for your dogs... which my friends got. The photo booth was super fun and not too pricey. They also gave us Hot Chocolate. They have a nice tree and some shops around Convention Hall there. We went to the tree lighting and took some fun, festive pictures. They also have a good production of Scrooge in Convention Hall. If you like musicals and you like A Christmas Carol- this is a great show to see! Next up... Red Bank! I don't know if they do this all the ti

Scribbles About Movies: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (no major spoilers... but I do bring up some things they don't show in the trailer)

I'm so excited to do this review on the second movie in the new Star Wars Trilogy. I really loved The Force Awakens and while I don't think this movie is quite as fun as The Force Awakens... it's still a really great movie. There were a lot of awesome twists and the ending was just kind of mind-blowing in its awesomeness... so I really really loved it! So while I did love this movie... it did start out very, very slow. This is a problem I have with most of the Star Wars movies... I think that's why I like Return of The Jedi so much because that gets to the point right away... but this definitely started very slow. There was a lot of action in it... there was a little bit of humor... there but it was mostly just racing, blowing stuff up... and that sort of thing. It wasn't bad... just not my thing and a little bit on the slower side. I think in the new movies- my favorite parts have been when Finn first appears in the movie. Finn is just such a fun character- I l

Blogmas Day 8: Olaf's Frozen Adventure Reivew

So I was excited for this special... I know they initially intended for it to be a Holiday TV Special... they then put it before Coco, but it was pulled from Coco because it is definitely NOT a short. It's 20 minutes without commercials... so on TV it's a full 30 minute special. If you like Frozen and you like the music of Frozen- you're going to love this special. The music isn't identical to the music of the movie... but they have songs like "The First Christmas in Forever" and it sounds very similar to the song "For The First Time In Forever." But for this special the gates are obviously opened and Elsa and Anna are singing together... so it's got a nice sister-y Christmas feel. I also just think Elsa is a really good queen. She invited everyone to the castle to spend the holidays there... that's really nice! Elsa 2020 amiright??? lol. It took me a while to like Olaf... but I think he's really funny in this special. He is adorabl

Weekly Update: 12/13/17

What I'm Watching  I just did a TV Blog about all the great Christmas TV Shows... but I think my favorite was American Housewife! I'm also excited to watch Prep and Landing and especially Olaf's Frozen Adventure! I haven't seen that yet and I'm a little excited! My Nana's friend called her up when Frozen was on to let her know that Frozen was on... I thought that was cute. Nana loves Disney and Musicals... so I'm guessing she liked it... don't think she saw it all though. Life in Pieces is also on tonight and it's another favorite of mine. I'm trying to watch things that are on the trending page of youtube now... just to kind of see what's up... so I watched Youtubers react to Youtube Rewind, I added some to my watch later playlist too... I watched the Joe Biden clip from the view... I just kind of want to see what gets popular... I've taken a sudden interest in that... I also have been loving Lisbug's channel where she's

Blogmas Day 7: Scribbles About TV: Festive Favorites!

So I thought that I would just talk a little bit about some of the TV shows that have been on and some of the specials for the holidays. First off the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Holiday Magic special... this was really sweet. I like that they didn't show as many couples this time... they focused on 2 couples... I thought that felt a little more special. The one couple was one that we saw Propose on the last Disney Fairy Tale Weddings special that they had... and their wedding was really beautiful and the wife surprised her new husband by hiring a choir to remind him of his Mom- who passed away and used to sing in a choir... it was really sweet. The other wedding... wasn't really my thing- but it's still beautiful to that couple and it was really sweet and special. I got emotional at both stories... it was a cute special. I'm excited for the Decorating Disney special as well! On ABC they have 2 shows around the holidays that are always fun to watch: The Great Holiday

Chart Chat! 12/12/17

Heyyy guys! Here are the charts for this week! 10) Just Getting Started- This is with Morgan Freeman I think? Is Michael Kane in it too? Not sure... but anyway this looked like a movie that's been done before... not sure people are still interested in it... ohhh no... okay Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones. It's about an undercover investigation at a Golf Course. Tommy Lee Jones is a former FBI Agent- Freeman is a former lawyer to the mob that's in the Witness Protection... so this exact scenario hasn't really been done before but it doesn't sound like the best movie ever either just from the IMDB synopsis... so I can see why people would rather see something else. Idk how many theaters this is in right now... but not great for its first week on the chart. It made 3.2 million dollars... 9) Lady Bird- This looks like a great movie that I think I can relate too... not always easy to find in movies but the trailer for this speaks to me. Lol. 8) The Star- This is

Blogmas Day 6: Disney at Christmas Time!

So I thought I would share this... some of it I've actually kind of experienced... some of it I've just seen on youtube and stuff... but even still I have a good feeling of Disney around Christmas... and I thought it would be fun to talk about. So I went in High School and it was towards the beginning of November. And we didn't do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party... there was no Jingle Cruise overlay or anything... there were just some decorations in the park and in the hotels. We took a picture in front of each of the Christmas Trees... it was cool to see them and how they were decorated and everything. Sooo from everything I've seen it's fun to watch... there are some really iconic moments from the parade that I always know I want to see every year when it's on tv even though I've never been in person. I like the Nutcrackers and the Gingerbread men. I also like that they have cookie trails now and they've made it a little different this ye

Scribbles About Food: Angeline by Michael Symon at Borgata

So at my friends bachelorette party we stayed at The Borgata... and I was really excited because I recognized the restaurant we were at as Michael Symon's newest restaurant... and I had really wanted to try that when I first heard about it. I love Michael Symon on The Chew and I think this is the closest restaurant he has. Plus it wasn't like the other celebrity restaurant at Atlantic City... it was like an actual restaurant... not just something with Symon's name plastered everywhere... I had to google to make sure it was his restaurant... it just looks like a nice Italian restaurant with an Atlantic City feel to it. I think the menu probably changes from season to season... it seemed like there were some nice fall options to it and there's a lot that you could get from the menu... for the most part it's regular italian food... but there are some lighter pastas too- like the one I ordered... so yeah. I didn't have any appetizers... it didn't look like

Blogmas Day 5: Scribbles About Food: Starbucks Christmas Tree Frap and Cranberry Bliss Bar

So I was excited to see Starbucks had a new Frap out for the holidays and I finally tried the Cranberry Bliss Bar... which I never thought I'd like but it was one of Gayle's favorite things in Oprah Magazine... and you know I love Gayle King- so I needed to give it a try! Christmas Tree Frappuccino  This is the best of the special limited edition frap that I've tried recently... and I like the Unicorn Frap and the Zombie Frap. This tasted like a mint candy. Like the inside of a Lindor Mint Truffle... that's what this tasted like. And on top they had a Matcha Whipped Cream, Dried Cranberry, and a Strawberry! The cranberry on top of the whipped cream was DELICIOUSLY Sweet and crunchy... it was perfect. I didn't end up eating the Strawberry on Top, but it did really make the frap look like a christmas tree. It was a really delicious combo of Mint and then when you got some of the Matcha Whipped Cream it was really nice... and then at the end I just got mostly Whip

Chart Chat 12/8/17

Heyyy guys! Here's what's on the charts this week! 10) A Bad Mom's Christmas- I think this had disappeared from the charts and it's coming back for Christmas maybe? I'm not sure but I think this looks wayyy better than Daddy's Home 2 and I'm surprised it's not performing as well at the Box Office. 9) The Star- This is a cute religious cartoon with celebrity voices... I don't think I'll see it but it does look really cute and maybe if you wanted to teach your kids the story of Jesus's birth- this is a good movie. 8) Lady Bird- This looks sooo good and relatable to me. Lol. I just want to see this! 7) Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri- I like Woody Harrelson kind of sort of... but this doesn't look like my thing. Maybe... idk. I'm not planning on watching it any time soon. 6) Murder On The Orient Express- I want to see this! 5) Daddy's Home 2- I don't want to see this! I do like John Lithgow so maybe I'll

Blogmas Day 4: Is It Good? Or is it Christmas.

Sooo today on Blogmas we're going to talk about different movies and songs that... I'm not too sure about. I think it's hard to judge Christmas Movies because these are things I loved as a kid and... I feel like I can't judge those that well and I can't judge Christmas movies that Harshly because I really really like Christmas. Jack Frost  Soo... I'm not a huge fan of Sentient Snowman... it took me a little while to warm up to Olaf... anyone else isn't really my fave. I'm sure I'll get to Frosty in this too... Brief synopsis... this singer named Jack Frost has a happy life with his wife and his son... although he's kind of struggling at being a father because he travels a lot as a musician and he just really wants to make it as a musician... and he keeps promising his son he'll be at his games and stuff... and then he doesn't show up... and it's kind of sad that when he keeps promising to get it together and he thinks he's a

Hump Day Update 12.6.17

What I'm Watching  I finally watched Merry Christmas Charlie Brown! Now the Holiday Season can start! There was a Disney Christmas Special... it wasn't my favorite special- but I still kind of liked it. So I watched that. Life In Pieces... the Thanksgiving episode was soooo sooo funny! And the episode from Thursday was good too. The Thanksgiving one was the best of the show so far though! Lol. I really liked the Will and Grace Christmas Special they showed last night. It wasn't the best Christmas Episode of Will and Grace but it was still really funny... and my favorite moment was when Karen's son Smitty said something terrible that happened and she giggled and said "Ohhh Smitty, you always know to cheer me up" which is a callback to one of my favorite jokes from the series. And Superstore was funny last night too... not as funny as the Halloween one- but still good. I showed my mom the 2 episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm that my friend showed me an

Blogmas Day 3: How To-sday How to Make A Christmas Jar

I bet you're wondering what a Christmas Jar is... well you're in luck because today you're going to find out how to make one! Here's what you'll need: A Large Jar  Christmasy Things to put in the jar.  I have a very large Apothecary Jar that I won in a "Guess The Candy Corn" Contest and I filled it with Ornaments of different sizes, "Snow" and jingle bells. The first ornaments I got were from Target's Wondershop and I went with the Pink, Red, Silver and rose gold theme. I just got 2 of the $3 boxes... would have been enough for a regular sized apothecary jar maybe... but not enough for mine... so the next day I went to Dollar Tree and got 2 packs of large rose gold ornaments and 1 bag of jingle bells. The snow from the stuffing of a little stuffed snowman that my dog got a hold of and put that in there too. I arranged the ornaments so that it wasn't too much of the same type of ornament or the same color in every little thing

Scribbles About Food: Shake Shack! First time Ever!

So I went to Shake Shack for the first time the other day... and I thought I'd do a little Scribbles About Food reviewing it. I had a Shack Burger- which is just a single burger, fries and the peanut butter shake. The Burger  The burger was really good... I don't think it was the best burger that I've ever had though. A lot of people say this is the best burger ever... I have to say I really really like Black Tap's burgers and I think those are just a little better... but the Shake Shack Burger was still really flavorful and I liked it a lot. I had lunch and coffee... probably not even 30 minutes before eating this burger... and I still ate more than half of the burger... so that tells you how yummy this burger is. The Fries  The fries were just regular Crinkle Cut French Fries... maybe it's not the most creative French Fry ever but sometimes the classics are just the best and these were definitely very delicious. Peanut Butter Shake  Again... not the most

Blogmas Day 2: My Christmasy Day in NY!

Alright here's a little personal blog about my day in NY! We went to take my baby niece to see Santa for the first time. We made an appointment with Santa's people and we got to see him! And it was a lot of fun! They really have a nice workshop set up there for Santa! They had little "animatronic" (idk if they're actually animatronic... but they were moving and they were the size of animatronics... so even though their faces didn't move or anything I'm going to go with them being animatronic.) pigs and donkeys and penguins and it was all really cute. They had a big tree with a face that was adorable... and I just really really liked it. I thought they did a great job setting up shop for Santa!  The room where we met Santa was very small and it was hard to get a big family picture in. We had 9 people in our party... including the baby so really 8 grown up people... and they kind of cut off my head and my dad's head in a picture... so keep that i

Music Specials Review: I Heart Radio Music Festival and Bruno Mars Live at The Apollo

There have been a lot of Music Specials lately... some for Christmas some not really for Christmas... I thought I would review a couple of the ones I've seen. I Heart Radio Music Festival Night 2  I missed Night 1 but Night 2 was on on Black Friday and I found it by accident. I turned on a repeat of The Goldbergs that was airing on The CW because there was nothing else on... and then this came on and Kesha was singing and she was great... and then I just looked up what it was and I was so excited that it was just a concert and not a full Music Award Show... plus it wasn't Christmasy at all. It was just great. They had sooo many performers too. Kesha, Lorde, DJ Khaled, Demi Lovato and so so many more. They played a lot of songs that just about everyone would enjoy... it was just a lot of fun to watch and everyone did a really great job. I was only half watching- we had company over... but I just really liked what I saw. Bruno Mars Live at The Apollo  This was such a fun

Blogmas Day 1: Getting Into The Christmas Spirit Checklist.

I thought it would be fun to do a checklist for things to get into the holiday spirit... I feel like I like doing it in different steps. I'll tell you guys what I like to do first and... yeah! 1- Starbucks Holiday Flavors! - Check!  2- Watch Some Cartoons That Aren't Christmas Cartoons- Check!  Before the Christmas Season Starts... I like to watch some cartoons! Usually... they have them on ABC Family's Countdown to the 25 Days of Christmas... also ABC Family is called FreeForm now so that's an old title... lol. This tradition started after coming back from Disney my Senior Year Of High School and then seeing ABC Family had a bunch of great Classic Disney Movies on before the 25 Days of Christmas Started. It was so much fun to combine my love of Christmas with my love of Disney... and Thanksgiving and The Homecoming Dance were in there too. It was fun. This year I was watching my friend's dog and it was on... so I watched Despicable Me... Which is my favori
