Scribble about life right now 12/17/13 at 1:26 am

So I'm like super stressed right now. I'm almost done with this paper, but almost isn't good enough I need to be finished by noon today and it's just frustrating because its not like I'm done with everything once I'm finished. I'm just done with that one particular thing and its just BLEHHHHH!

And today I was just not very productive. I mean I finished a whole page and a half of this paper, and I'm almost done with it its just that I want to be done with it and not do anything. And I was extremely unproductive today because I did a lot of stuff.

Sephora sent me a coupon for $15 off and I was like "GUESS WHO'S GETTING THE NAKED 3 BITCHES!" and since they didn't have it online I took the train to the store to get it. The store didn't have it either, but there were still things I wanted and I wanted to use the coupon so I got the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette and sephora had a glitter liner set so I got that. And the mall had a Gloria Jeans and I was resisting the urge to go, but it did not work and I went and got a sugar cookie chiller. Super super good.

Then I came back to my dorm, worked on my paper a little bit and got stuff done. Then I ate dinner and then I went out again and I watched the movie Baseketball with my peeps.... and now I feel kinda dead. Like the movie is super funny and everything but its one of those stupid movies that's hard to watch and then want to write a bunch of papers after. Those are some of my favorite movies though. Just dumb funny movies. I may do a review on that, is that weird? The movie is over 10 years old, its not like theres a huge demand for reviews on it. Lol. But it was funny and its one of those movies I could watch again and again without getting tired of it.

Anyhoos now I'm probably going to watch the wire because that is what my paper is on and I need better ideas of what to write about... so lets hope that happens. I'd do a wire review, but I'm watching it for class so it would be more like writing a paper and I'm already writing bajillions of papers.

So yeah, I figured why not write this diary-style blog just to give an extra layer to my life right now. By this time next week it will be Christmas Eve and I will be less stressed. Good thing to look at.

For the rest of the week on this blog there is a brooklyn 99 review, woman crush wednesday on a very lovely deputy director of the parks department who happens to be on entertainment weekly this week, and a list of Christmas movies... and idk what for feeling lovely Thursday. We'll see what happens and how lovely I feel on Thursday after finishing all of these godforsaken papers and finals.

Blogmas Day 12: The 12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide

So I thought it would be fun to do a gift guide that every gift corresponds with the price. So like for the first day of Christmas $1 gift that would be good and then up from there. These would be good stocking stutterers and things I just think are unique. $1- Solar Powered Dancers!  My mom loves getting the little dancing solar powered people. We get most of ours from Dollar tree... other dollar stores have them too, they're super cute and fun for $1. Its good to put near any plants that you have that way you know they're getting sunlight. It's a good gift. $2- Mini Coloring Book!  At 5 Below they had some mini travel sized coloring books for $2. I thought these were pretty cool. I got the Botanical one I believe. Really cute and fun! I would recommend! $3-   Ceramic Truck w/ Christmas Tree  I saw this at the Target Dollar Spot and I thought it was cute and would probably make a great gift. If you know someone who has a truck or likes the sort of "rustic C...

Scribbles About Food: Gloria Jeans Pistachio Chiller (kinda like a frap)

So since I'm doing all of the Frappuccino reviews, I thought I would give a shout out to a different coffee chain that I like... maybe even more than Starbucks! But I hardly ever go to it because A) People get your orders wrong there a lot B) I don't really live near one! So Gloria Jeans has some amazing drinks called Chillers that are like Frappuccinos, but they have always had a ton of really good and really interesting flavors. One of my favorite Seasonal ones is the Pistachio Chiller. They had this around this time last year also and its a really good unique flavor. Basically it tastes like pistachio ice cream... but in a frozen coffee form. Its pretty cool! And Pistachio is a pretty underrated flavor in my opinion. I don't get it enough, but I always love Pistachio and Almond flavored desserts and this in particular is really flavorful and just a really good chiller. I don't think there is anything at starbucks that compares to it really, its really different...

Scribbles about Books: Horns by Joe Hill

I picked this book up not too long ago because after seeing the trailer for the movie and seeing it was based on a book I thought "Hey, that looks good. I should read the book." Then my friend gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday and I thought "Hey I wanted to read Horns, I should grab that." And I did, and I had to read it around halloween of corse! So this is my kind of horror story first of all. I love that the universe it takes place in is very realistic and very small-town. If you've noticed in some of my other book reviews... I like mysteries that take place in small towns. And its very believable because the world and the characters are all so real. I think its a good book just for that. The book starts out with this guy Ignatious, or Ig a year after his girlfriend Merrin is murdered. He grows horns from out of his head... for no real reason. And then a few chapters in we find out who really did it and then we find out why and that thi...
