Something that doesn't make me feel lovely-pores!?!?

So I don't know exactly what's happened recently, but I've been noticing pores a lot more and it's bothering me a lot. Usually pores are just regular pores. I've never really paid much attention to them. But recently I've been noticing them on my face and I'm like "ohh that's not cute."

I kind of want to buy a primer or some sort of skincare type thing that minimizes pores... But everything claims to minimize pores, so I have no idea what's real and what isn't.

And it's not like I have a ton of noticeable pores. There are just a few that stick out and they're like "yo, whatup Shan, I'm a pore. I'm just gonna chill here on your face and be the worst." Note: the pore is singing "the worst" it is a known fact that all pores talk exactly like Jean-Ralphio Saperstein from Parks and Rec.

Also what the hell are pores? I mean why are they so unattractive that we must banish them off of our face? I get that having a pore less-looking face looks healthy, but why? Everyone has pores why not show them off? Because that looks terrible which is why we minimize them. BUT WHY! Ugh so many questions.

And I remember one time Kelly Ripa said that she saw Nicole Kidman without make up and she looked flawless and there wasn't a pore in sight. Why is that so attractive? Why does everyone in Hollywood need to have flawless faces with minimized pores and everything of the like. Why? Is it a requirement? Will the academy not give you an Oscar if you have noticeable pores? Could someone with Acne ever win an academy award, or can they only do proactive commercials? What's the deal? It just bothers me!

Anyhoo, let me know what minimizes or unclogs or does whatever it's supposed to do for your pores in the comments or something.

Byeeeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
