Weekly Wrap Up 8.16.20

It's my boyfriend and my 2 year dating anniversary today! Two years ago we went to PF Changs and saw the movie Christopher Robin and it was the best first date ever! Anyway- here's the weekly wrap up!

Favorites

Umbrella Academy Season 2- This is such a fun show! I have a review of it coming up next week... but just know this isn't an easy show to review... so just watch it and let me know if you guys love it as much as I do. I liked the second season wayyyy better than the first one.

We Bare Bears- My boyfriend made me watch this show! It's really cute and funny... I only saw the first  2 episodes I think... maybe the first 3... yeah the first 3 I think... but it's really funny and a lot of the voices are famous comedians. So yeah! That's great!

Bath and Body Works- Bath and Body Works is like my happy place lately and I've been buying A LOT from there and it's all really good stuff. They have a new Aromatherapy Line that I like a lot- and they have a lot of really great new fall scents. Great stuff that I definitely recommend checking out!

Life Scribbles

I went to work this week... I had the weekend off which is great.

I switched where my makeup is to my other room and now I have my notebooks and papery writing stuff on my desk in my room... so this is really nice!

And... other than that... I had a wrap from a restaurant I like... I shopped a bit... didn't do anything too crazy but I had a good week!

Noteworthy Snacks

I've been going to Finn's kind of a lot lately... it's a place that once I eat at I can't really get enough of and lately I've been ordering something called the Hawaii Five 0... which is a Chicken Caesar Wrap and I really like it. It's something I didn't think I'd like- but now that I've tried it I might order this from more places.

I also had a cookies and cream Twix Bar... which was alright- but the Oreo Bars are way better.

TV Highlights

General Hospital is back on!!! Finally something new! But they have a new Sam... who I don't really like and a new Nicholas who I think was on the show before... but I don't like him as much as the other Nicholas. It's stuff I'll need to get used to but I probably won't really watch the show enough.

Thoughts

I'm just really happy and I have been for 2 years!!!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
