Target Tuesday: A Very Random Target Haul

Every Target Haul is a little like this... but it's random still.

I'm going to start with the last things I bought because I never really mention the candy I get at checkout. I grabbed a Twix Bar and then I asked my boyfriend if he wanted anything and he said a Milky Way... so I got him a Milky Way... and then I saw they had a Cookies and Cream twix bar- so I got one of those too. I haven't tried that yet... but maybe that will be my review next week lol.

The most exciting thing I purchased was probably The Complete Series of The Mindy Project on DVD. I really like The Mindy Project and I don't think I saw the last few seasons. I'm excited to watch it again and review it on this blog of corse!

I also got another pair of earrings from Universal Thread.

And I got some Cat Pens... which are cute. I thought they were bunnies... but it says Cat on my receipt. These were more expensive than I would have wanted to spend on Cat Pens... they were the same price of the earrings actually as you'll see on the receipt... so I wouldn't have gotten them had I known that... but they're cute and I like them.

And something I would have gotten more of had I known it was so cheap was a 20 pack of papermate pens! These are the Stick Pen Write Bros pens... which is a funny name. I thought they would be more expensive because they look similar to the papermate flair pens- but they were on sale for 1.99 so that was pretty cool. They're originally only 2-something. My receipt says I saved 70 cents so... I guess they were just cheaper than I was expecting to begin with because they aren't the papermate flairs... but I was pretty excited!

So that is everything! Hope you guys like this or find it useful!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
