Scribbles About Food: Hi-C Ecto Cooler

This is an exciting scribble. I never drank this as a kid... I wouldn't eat or drink anything green... but I always regretted not trying this because people my age and older love this... People are still talking about this! It was made for Ghostbusters originally... and they kept it for several years after that... so people must have loved it! I really like it too. It tastes like a juice version of Sprite kind of. It is only 10% juice... but I really think the flavor is good and its really yummy. I like it a lot! If you are of legal age and like a good drink, I'd recommend a shot of cake or vanilla flavored vodka in this. I think even if you don't drink, some vanilla extract might make this a little better. Its good, but it feels like it needs a little extra sweetness when its plain, which is where the cake vodka comes in. My sister drank it plain and said she liked it but thought it needed something and she could see the cake vodka improving it. I didn't really h

What's up Wednesday 7.27.16

-Today was a half bad, half good news type of day. I'm not really going to share either of those things...But yeah.  -The Chew has been showing their Epcot Food and Wine festival week which is exciting! I love Disney and I've been super into this this week!  -I've been Pinterest-ing a lot and I think I accidentally sent some random person something... Either room decor or something else... Lol. Pinning is dangerous, so my Pinterest is very secret!  -Went in the pool for a little bit today, which was fun.  -I've been tired a lot today. I guess cause it's been a kind of meh week...that's just how it's been.  -I've started playing the game magic kingdoms and I like... But I think I'm stuck or something. The app is pretty knew, so I think it needed to update a bit... But yeah, not doing it right now.  -it's hot in my roo ...ugh.  -I had a Thanksgiving Sandwich for lunch with Mac and Cheese... And for dinner I had a hot dog with potato salad and my mom

APPyness: Pokemon Go

The App everyone is talking about: Pokemon Go! I was excited about this because I was never good at the gameboy pokemon games. I loved the TV show and I collected the cards and the toys. One of the best moments of my life was getting the Pikachu Burger King toy.. but because I never played the game I feel a little excluded from the nostalgia. My main problem with the game boy games was that it was kind of hard to catch a pokemon... but this is pretty easy. You just look for them and then swipe your phone screen and hope they don't run away from you. I also like that it is a virtual reality game... but it doesn't really go overboard. Its done well but you still know that you're playing a videogame. You aren't sucked into the game too much. I like that they have the avatar trainers that you can customize... I'm a fan of any game you can customize like that. And you just find pokemon around where you're at basically. You can walk around your neighborhood or g

Scribbles About Movies: Holidays Review

This is something I saw on netflix that I thought was going to be really funny but also kind of scary. Its a horror anthology where each holiday had a different short horror movie about it. I was intrigued because I love a good horror comedy and I thought this would fall more under that genre... but it is basically 8 slasher movies. They were all definitely horror movies. Most had some funny elements... but any satire in there was definitely horror related. Since this is an anthology, I'll have little spoiler-free mini reviews on each movie. Valentine's Day  This one I really liked. I didn't like it as much as the other ones after I started watching them. It was predictable... I knew exactly what was going to happen. I thought it was well written and directed though, there were a lot of good shots... it sort of seemed like a minimalist type of thing... so that was cool. I liked that a lot. The mean girl in the movie said something that I would think of as unforgivable...

Weekly Wrap Up- 7.24.16

Favorites  Fins- I figured I'd start out with a local favorite this week... because why not! This is a really good taco place in the Jersey Shore with really good fish tacos particularly. Despite Jersey having good fish places and good taco places... there aren't a lot of great fish taco places... but this one is pretty awesome! The fish is really fresh and the flavors are very flavorful together. I had a taco salad this week with seaweed and coconut sesame fish... it was really good! They have more than seafood and more than tacos too... but anything coconut sesame they have is awesome and I'd highly recommend it! The Year of Yes By Shonda Rhimes- I read this book for a book club this week, I chose the book and I really liked it a lot! Its one of my favorite memoirs that I've read... and I've read a lot of them! Especially recently when everyone has a book out... this is great! Its a good uplifting book that I think you can enjoy whether you watch her shows or

Top 10 Movies I'd Like To See Re-Done

So with Ghostbusters being released and the backlash of it all... I thought I'd just talk about the top 10 movies I think can make it with remakes. I'm fine with remakes... its fun to see how different directors interpret things and even seeing things in different genres, like Dark Shadows or 21 Jump Street, which were made as great comedies... and yeah. So these are movies and TV Shows I think could be redone somehow. It might not all be as a movie... but they can be re-done somehow. And I'll count these down so its kind of an order from least favorite to favorite. 10) Pushing Daisies- This is something that I think was done very well... but I don't think a TV show is the best representation of it. There are talks of a musical, or maybe a movie about it... I think those are good... but I don't know if that would be the best way of doing it. I want to see it as like a comic book or a series of books... there's an audience for it and I think it would be fun to

Scribbles About Movies: Finding Dory Review

Alrighttt so I just saw Finding Dory and I liked it... but I don't think I loved it the way I love most Pixar movies. I loved the message that they were sending through the movie. Most of the characters had disabilities and they were stronger because of their disabilities and they were able to help each other out because of it. It was sweet and a great message to send to kids and adults. I'm happy they didn't change the characters at all either. Dory was the same, Marlin was the same. I'm super happy it wasn't a prequel... I thought that was kind of a miss when they did that with Monster's University. And all the new characters are funny and charming and well designed! I love when Pixar gets inventive with their character designs too. When they did Monster's Inc they had to invent new technology just for the tiny detail of Sully's hair moving when he was asleep. And that was really cool! I feel like Pixar hasn't been doing that as much lately...

Scribbles About Music: Throwback Thursday Edition- Our Lawyers Made Us Change The Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued by Fall Out Boy (From Under The Cork Tree)

So I'm doing a new Throwback Thursday Scribbles About Music where I go over every song from an album every other week (or maybe every week?). I'm starting with the CD That got me into music... From Under The Cork Tree by Fall Out Boy. And This is the first song... and the title is too long for me to keep repeating so I'm going to call it Lawyers. Emo Bands have names that are far too long as I've noticed over the years... so in real life I refer to their songs as something like "Number 5" or "The Song Before Dance, Dance" Or something like that. When I first bought this cd it was before I had an Ipod... before Iphones even existed. It was 10 years ago I think... I was 14 when I got this cd I think... so yeah.... thats quite a while and I still like it! I chose the CD because Fall Out Boy has been my favorite band for like 10 years... and it really hasn't changed. I don't listen to all their songs all the time any more... but I still think I

What's up Wednesday 7.20.16

Do you smell the up dog in here? Wednesday!  -I wanted to wake up early today to blog... But that didn't happen.  -I has a dream about Adam Devine from Workaholics and Pitch Perfect and it was good... So that's how I woke up Lol.  - I watched some YouTube videos. I've been into Disney vlogs lately, but I watched EmilyNoel83 too.  -I had a bit of a headache which made me grumpy for a little bit, but that's gone now, so that's good -I went to Starbucks. They just moved my Starbucks to the other side of the shopping complex and it's so pretty and big and nice. They have a drive thru now too... So that's good. I'm excited to see it during the holidays, it's going to be so nice!  -I'm getting my computer back tomorrow! So my blogs should be on a better schedule!  -I couldn't connect to Pokemon go today, which was sad.  -I also started playing a game called Magic Kingdoms about Disney and that's fun. I'll do a review on that and Pokemon soon

Chart Chat:7.18.16

I'm gonna do Chart Chat a little differently today and actually go with the top 10 movies of the week instead of the top 5. We'll see how that works! 10) Independence Day: Resurgence- Bottom of the list but still holding on strong considering its been in theaters for so long. I never saw Independence Day because it came out when I was 5 or 6 and I was TERRIFIED of aliens because my mom took me to see the movie Mars Attacks, which is a very funny movie, but very disturbing for a 5 year old! And I wanted to see this when I was little, but my mom made sure I didn't see it because I was so scared of Mars Attacks. A few years later I went to Disney and at the time there was a ride called "Alien Encounter" which is now the Stitch Ride... and that was the scariest thing that ever happened to me in my life. Lol. Somehow now I love Aliens and The X Files... so go figure...but I feel like I'll need to see the original before I watch the Hemsworth brother-y version. Lo

Weekly Wrap Up 6.17.16

Faves  S'mores M&Ms- I've done a review on them  here  but I love these! I've been eating a lot of them right now... and I shouldn't be because I am trying to be helthier. They're just so good. I don't understand why no one is talking about these because they are amazing and I love them... but yeah. These are good! Oh Yeah Disney- So I've been into disney vlogs lately... not suew why but this is just a channel I've been liking lately. The guy takes such nice videos of the park, that it looks really good. If you want to see my other favorite disney vloggers, you can look  here . Me Before You- I'm at the end of this book... and I really really like the way its going! I'm excited to do a review on this one because I have a lot of feelings about it already... we'll talk about it! Life Scribbles -Monday I worked out and went in the pool. I wanted to stay in the pool longer, but I felt something wet on the back of my neck and freaked

It List:July 2016

1) Couch to 5K-  So I've already done an app review about this, but I love this app! It's so useful for getting into shape... It's fun and I like it a lot! 2) Pokemon Go- This is such a fun game! I loved the Pokemon TV show and I collected the cars and toys as a kid...but I was never into the games, but this is easier to use and it's just fun. I just downloaded it for a review... But then I caught a Pokemon and I was like "ohh that felt good" and I wanted to play more. I like it a lot but this is really nice! I like it a lot!  3) Me Before You- I forget if this was in last months It List...but I'm almost done with it now and it's gotten so good! I'm already sure I'll be bawling my eyes out at the ending, but I'm really loving it right now! Expect a review soon!  4) Disney Vloggers- I follow mostly beauty Vloggers on YouTube... But one of the people I follow is Jessica Braun, who is on her husbands channel Tylerstravelstv... And

Favorite Disney Vloggers

Lately I've been watching a lot of Disney vlogs...not totally sure why... I've just been feeling it lately.  My list is a little biased towards Disney World and that's mostly because that's where I've been, that's where I live closer too... And I think I'd probably like it better than Disneyland anyway.  Let's just get to the Vloggers!  TylerTravelsTv-  So I watch mostly beauty Vloggers on YouTube and this is actually the husband of one of the beauty Vloggers that I watch Jessica Braun. They love Disney and go quite often and he is now a travel agent for Disney, so that's cool. They have other travel vlogs as well... But I was watching their Disney ones just because they really have a lot of fun at Disney and I love watching them! They have a ride through video of Frozen and a lot of other ones. It's a fun channel!  Oh Yeah Disney-  These two are an engaged couple that is actually getting married on my birthday I think they said lol. Scott is the

What's up Wednesday 7.13.16 .

Does anyone smell the up dog in here? Wednesday!  -I'm in a bad mood today. Just all around crappy, terrible mood. I feel like everyone is just saying the wrong things to me and I'm reacting badly to them and I'm just grumpy now. -Cheese and crackers for lunch. Not as yummy as the sandwiches I had been making lately...but still okay.  -Did a workout for 30 mins... Might do another workout later cause I like doing a full hour.  - I need to be cleaning my room or reading The Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes...but I'm just watching a YouTube channel called Oh Yeah Disney and just watching all of their vlogs... They're fun to watch!  -I think I'm going to do a finish 13 by Halloween for my other blog and I think I'm going on a low buy that I'm going to combine with fitness goals. Cause I want some luxury makeup like Nars and hourglass,.. But I don't want to just buy them... I want to treat myself.  -I've been writing both of my blogs down in a little not

APPyness: Couch 2 5K Review

So I hate running... really hate it! However, a lot of people I know were signing up for a local 5K. I was going to sign up just to walk instead of running, because that is also an option... but my dad signed up for the run, so I felt kind of wimpy only signing up for the walk. I mentioned how nervous I was about this 5k to a friend on instagram and she told me to download this app to help me get ready... so that is what I did! I like the app a lot! Its easy because it alternates between running and walking and it gradually changes so that you do more and more running and eventually you just run without stopping! Right now I'm on Week 3 and I just finished Day 1... and that was really really hard! It gets easier though and by the time you're on Day 3 you'll be ready for the next step. I should explain the week/ day part better. Every week takes 3 days and then you get sort of "leveled up" and the next week you do a little more running. As long as you are consi

Chart Chat:7.11.16

5) The Purge:Election Year- This looks good and scary. I always want to see the purge movies but A) no one I know likes horror movies B) Horror movies also aren't that good to see in my movie theater. People are loud and obnoxious in horror movies... and sometimes like in the Paranormal Activity movies its kind of funny... but with this one I think I'd rather not pay for an expensive ticket and then have people being obnoxious in the movie... and I never end up watching these on TV either... lol. I should start. This one looks particularly scary and interesting... but yeah. Probably won't end up seeing it. 4) Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates- I want to see this movie... lol. I actually have the book I want to read first which means I probably won't end up seeing this... but it looks good! 3) Finding Dory- I need to see this and I still haven't seen this!!! I love Finding Nemo... its probably one of my top favorite movies ever and I love the concept of this! So c

Weekly Wrap Up 7.10.16

Favorites  Couch to 5k-   I've mentioned this before, but I started doing this app for running and it alternates the time that you run and walk and it gets harder the more you do it. It's pretty cool! I like it!  In The Balm of Your Hand Palette- I'll be talking about this a lot more on my other blog, but I've really been loving this palette and I would think it's just been my favorite thing to use this week, not just favorite beauty related thing.  Lady Dynamite-  I've only seen an episode of this so far...but it's really funny and deserves a mention. It's not for everyone, but I know everyone will be talking about it in 10 years.  Snippets  I don't think I did too much this week either. Started working out again and I worked out to the Hamilton soundtrack, which was cool. That worked nicely lol. I went to target and they had nothing... My target has been kinda bad lately aside from the dollar spot. It's so messy...and now the

Gnomes? Word of the day

So I looked up word of the day and I thought hey every once and a while I'll do a 5 minute story about a random word and that will be a thing I blog about.  So I looked it up and I saw the word Gnomial or something which means relating to a gnome... And I have a few stories about that that I'm going to share on this blog.  1) I went to Germany one time and we were hiking through the Black Forest I guess... Idk if it's hiking but I'm calling it hiking. There was like a little house with a lot of gnomes. It was kind of magical looking,  2) the movie Gnomio and Juliet- I wonder who thought "hey... Let's make Romeo and Juliet but with gnomes?" I guess they said the name Gnomio first... Or maybe they had a gnome in their yard and in the yard next door there was a girl gnome in the other yard... And then they fell in love. That would be cool!  3) I think in creative writing class when I was in high school I did a story about someone that stole someone's gnom

Fitness Friday: What I've been doing w/o gym membership

So I think I posted about this last year... Maybe not on this blog... But I figured I'd just share some things I've been doing and how I do them. So my friend told me about this app called Couch to 5k and it tells you how to run for a half hour and gradually it gets harder to do and it's just an easy way if you want to start running, that helps. Lately I've been doing little 30 minute workouts before, and I've done workouts after running too... But I prefer before cause I feel like I can do a more full workout them.  And I just do easy excersises for a small space. I use my sisters bedroom cause she lives with her husband now. But it's small. So I do crunches, I do the running app in there too because there's been a heatwave and I didn't really want to go outside. Stacey has some weights that she left here and I used them too. I just do things that are easy to do in a tiny place. It's nothing too special  if you look up "small space work

Things I'd do... but just can't: Rainbow Hair

So I don't think these are necessarily things I'm afraid to do, but here are some things I want to do at some point... but I know the chances are slim... And actually its just a list of one thing: Rainbow Hair! So its pretty trendy right now to dye your hair rainbow. If you see any videos on buzzfeed's page "Top Knot" you'll see lots of women with beautiful, long rainbow hair that looks soft and healthy and amazing. And they just braid it and do all sorts of trendy hairstyles like its nothing and it looks so cool cause anything would look cool! Its rainbow hair! Anyway I had liked the way it looked for a while, but I knew I'd never do that. I'm not the type of person that could do that... and its not that cool. I don't want to be "That girl with the rainbow hair." But then I had a dream that I dyed my hair rainbow... and it looked awesome. I have pretty short curly hair and it looked super cool in the dream and I felt really confide

What's up Wednesday -7.6.16

Wassssssssabbbbbiiiii Wednesday! -I wanted to wake up early to write stuff... But I didn't. I want to try writing in the morning because they say your day hasn't been influenced by anything and that's when you're the most you... Idk I think a big part of who a person is is the stuff that influences them throughout the day and how they react to it... So that doesn't totally make sense to me... But I'll take it with a grain of salt.  -I did, however, start the "fitness" journal I mentioned yesterday and I had a good workout today. I thought it was a little too much at first..but it's probably okay.  -also listened to the Hamilton Soundtrack while working out and that was awesome. -had a good lunch too. -went in the pool and read some more of Me Before You, which is a great book! Highly recommend! I'm on page 201 exactly lol.  -had sausage and peppers for dinner. That was yummy. Mozzarella cheese was also involved. I liked it!  -wa

Random Tj Maxx And Barnes and Noble haul

So I went into TJ Maxx looking for blingy Fit Flops or Quay Sunglasses... And I came out with a lot of stuff that did not include either of those things lol. I decided to go to the workout area because I've started running and I'm sort of looking for a pouch to hold my phone. Didn't find that, but they had camelback water bottles on sale for 9.99. I usually use a hydroflask... But I've been running inside of my house (weird... I know) and my hydroflask is really big and heavy, so I thought this would be better for when I actually run outside.  I also saw yoga matts and I had one till checkout... But my total ended up being more than I wanted it to be for impulse buys and because I do most of my workouts inside, I didn't know if the yoga mat (matt? It keeps capitalizing Matt like its not the right way to say mat lol.) would fit there... So maybe I'll measure and look it up.  Then I went to see if they had any good beauty organizers because I have a lo

Weekly Wrap Up: 7.3.16

Happy july! Here's your weekly wrap up! Favorites  Orange is The New Black- The fourth season of Orange is The New Black was definitely the best season so far. I had a review of it already... I totally loved it. I liked it last season and the season before was okay... but this season was amazing! I thought it ended really well. I have some ideas for what I think should happen next season... Idk lol. I'm excited to see what happens though!  Starbucks Caramel Expresso Granita- When I first tried this I was like "weird" but then I swirled it around a bit and really liked it. I only had one this week... or maybe last week... but it was pretty good! I would try it again and in other flavors! Couch to 5k- This is an app that gets you to alternate between running and walking. I've done it twice so far, but its really good and easy to use. I think it gets you to run more when you've been doing it a few more weeks. I like it! I'm supposed to be running

Scribbles About Food: Starbucks Caramel Expresso Granita

So this is kind of a weird thing to review. The first sip I was like "Weird... this is gross I don't like it." But I mixed it around a little bit and I was like "This is amazing. I love it! Its delicious and so different." So... there you go lol. Its like shaved ice in a coffee... so its a weird sort of texture and its like you're getting something a little different with every sip. It was pretty yummy when it was mixed a little bit. I think I needed mine mixed a little because it wasn't all that sweet... but when it was mixed around... it was good. So I don't know if these are something you can only get at 3pm or after... or if you could ask for it during the day and see if you get it. I don't typically get Starbucks after 3pm... so it might take a while for me to get this again or to get another flavor... but I really like it. Its also good if you don't want caffeine or if you don't want caffeine after 3pm... they have fruit flavore

Scribbles About TV: Orange is The New Black Season 4 (Spoilers)

So I wasn't all that excited when this season came out to be totally honest...the show hasn't been that good in a long time, I like Grace and Frankie a little better...and it just isn't my absolute favorite show anymore. ...but this season was different! It started out really really well and I wasn't really going to binge watch it or anything but then I ended up watching 7 episodes the fist day and finishing it within 3 days... Oops! Like I said it was a good season.  There's never really been a "hide the body" storyline on the show, but this year it did! And I think that was what the show was really missing. I liked the friendship between Lolly and Alex, I liked that we learned Lolly's backstory. I liked knowing more about Healy cause he kinda didn't get the attention needed last year on the show... And I still didn't really like his backstory, but it made sense at least now!  And I liked Piper's story this season! I liked her
