Blogmas Day 5: Christmas Season Bucket List!

I did one of these for the summer... and I kind of failed that bucket list... so hopefully I'll do a little bit better with this one!

1) Give Gifts- I mean this is something I pretty much always do... but my parents usually just buy their gifts for themselves that are things I would pick out for them. This year I want to actually get them stuff they'll use and love because I have a job now... so I can get them stuff on my own!

2) Decorate My Room- I really want my room to be kind of decorated for Christmas. Right now my room is kind of a mess... but I think I could decorate it and it would look super cute. I just watched a few online DIY videos and things like that... so I kind of want to decorate it!

3) Craft- I work right next to a craft store right now... so I feel like that's going to make it a little more fun for me to be able to craft and decorate things for myself. I really want to make cards for everyone... I think that can be really fun and I just want to get better at crafting.

4) See Christmas Decorations in New York- I might have done this by the time I'm writing this blog... but as of writing this I'm going to see Santa at Macy's again with my parents, sister, niece, brother in law and his family... and I also want to see the decorations with my boyfriend. I'd like to see the window displays and everything and... I just think we'll have a fun time and it'll be really pretty and it's a cute date idea.

5) Decorate My Christmas Tree- One thing I really love about Christmas is decorating the Christmas Tree... actually this is one of the only things I really take seriously in life... so I need to decorate!!! We have a lot of ornaments- they all have memories with them too... and I just really love decorating my tree!

6) Have A Cozy Day Watching Christmas Movies- I usually watch Christmas Movies while decorating- but I think it might be kind of fun to just watch them on my day off or a day when I get home from work early... and I'll just have a nice cozy day!

7) Cook Something!- I sort of want to actually cook something for myself during the holidays... I'm not sure why- but my sister got my parents an Instant Pot last year... they don't use it a lot but I think I can use it and maybe make myself some soup to bring to work or something.

8) Bake Cookies- So I also want to bake some cookies for the holidays... I'm not sure what exactly I'll make... but I would kind of like to bake some cookies. I feel like that might be fun!

9) Go to an Ugly Sweater Party- My friend has an Ugly Sweater Party every year... I'm excited to go to it this year. I have a new ugly sweater dress... I think it'll be cute.

10) Vlogmas- Last year I posted on my youtube channel every day during december. I haven't posted on youtube in months... but I would really like to start it up again and I think Vlogmas might be a fun thing to do... it might just be beauty videos- maybe I'll have some actual vlogs... but I think I want to have something up Daily in December!

That is everything! I hope you guys like this list! I'll update you guys after the season to let you know what I did... or I'll do posts about the things themselves!

Bye!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
