Story Time: I punched someone???

Alright so before you're like "Ohhh my gosh. Shannon I didn't know you did fights!" No. I'm not a fighter... but I was 6... and it was justified. Lol.

So I was in Kindergarten and my teacher moved me next to this kid that was very hyper. Which is fine, most kindergartners are... but he was more so than the rest of the class. When he wasn't sitting right across from me... fine. But when he was right across from me... I was not a happy 6 year old. Lol.

So he would keep going like he was pretending to punch me and he wouldn't punch me. And I said "Could you please not do that. It's bothering me." Or maybe something meaner... I don't remember... I was 6 and I am now 24... so yeah. I'm biased to agree with what I did because I'm me. Lol. So then he said "If it bugs you so much why don't you just punch me."

So I punched him. And you know what he did? That asshole told the teacher "Teacher, Shannon punched me." WHO DOES THAT? Lol. Like seriously? What a crappy thing to do. I bet that guy's a jerk now! Lol. I'm just kidding... he was actually nice throughout the rest of my school days... but still. That's pretty crappy!

So we had a substitute that day... which was lucky because my teacher was strict... and she didn't like me very much. She never gave me a sticker but she gave everyone else a sticker... anyway. The substitute is the nicest person ever... I ran into her recently she's still very nice and she was a great teacher and I just told her "well he told me to" and she said "okay."

Whewww! What a relief!

Also btw... that kid never pretended to punch me again... never bothered me again. So he learned that day! Lol.

So I guess the moral of the story is stand up for yourself! Don't let kids bully you. You don't have to punch them back, you don't have to be mean back... but don't do nothing. Most people would get in trouble for punching someone... and rightfully so... but yeah.

Byeee!

Weekly Wrap Up 7.30.17

Sunday 7.23.17  Sunday was a really good day… it was kind of a lazy day for me… but my dad pretty much finished most of the painting in my room… he ran out of paint before he could totally finish it up… so he’ll finish that up soon… my mom is going to the paint store tomorrow… so hopefully he can finish it up then.  He also made some really fantastic barbecue pork… it was going to be pulled pork… but the pulling process didn’t really work… I kind of prefer the texture of it sliced instead of pulled…. idk. I like pulled pork… but this sliced pork was really delicious and flavorful and good.  We went for Starbucks and Ice Cream too… which was fun. Starbucks sends a lot of bonus stars offers after 2… so even though we go in the morning- we have to go after 2 because then we’ll get bonus stars, which my dad uses in New York because it’s a little more expensive there.  And then the ice cream… nutella ice cream with crushed oreos and marshmallow…it was del...

Throwback Thursday: The Incredibles

This is one of the more underrated movies in the Pixar Universe... thatI think is actually getting more popular now than it was back when it was released... so that's good. I think it really stands the test of time... but it still isn't one of my favorites. This movie I think is pretty cool because it was the first time Pixar really used humans. When I was little I thought "Toys, Bugs, Monsters, Fish... the next movie will be about dogs!" And I was surprised it was this! I didn't know Pixar could do that! But I guess technically its about heroes and not humans... but then Pixar began to show more humans in their world and The Pixar Theory was started... and yeah. I just kind of want to state my opinion on the Pixar Theory here too cause why not: I don't believe that Pixar set out to create this elaborate world with all the movies connected... but I do still believe it exists in some way shape of form. It all adds up and checks out... so for me... somehow t...

Rereading My Favorite Thing I Wrote In College

Hey guys! I'd say "today's post is a little different" but they're all kind of different to begin with... so this might end up being the same- or at least something that can fit into this blog in a nice way. So I don't want to post the actual thing that I wrote... but in my college Creative Writing Class that I took at 21 we needed to write a fantastical realism short story. And I wrote something that I always liked. The lead character was a smart and sassy woman... the fantastical elements were exciting and unique... and the story as a whole had a cute ending and a good message... and I really liked the way that I took what happened in my real life and changed it into this amazing and fantastical thing. Re-reading it... it was still pretty good. I actually liked the ending a little bit better because it had a nice message about believing in yourself that I kind of just snuck in there without much thought... and there was a cute little love story. I liked ...
